This coffee had a pretty good taste and aroma when brewed, especially that of peach. I wasn't sure what to expect since the description said it was both a "medium" and "light" roast but I would say it's much more "light" and this could easily be consumed in the evening without worrying about keeping you up ... show more

We served this at an event and did not have any creamers or sugars available. People lived it! Many people commented on how great it tasted and how they didn’t need additions to it. Most of those people don’t drink their coffee black!

I like it is organic. A very nice aroma comes up as soon as you open the bag, which is not resealable, but because of the size (12 oz) I didn’t have the need to only partially use as all coffee fitted in my coffee machine. From a roast perspective, I felt the beans are more on the light side versus medium roast. I normally like the Ethiopian coffee and this is no exception – very flavorful and smooth, with only a little bitterness. ... show more

This was not a great bag of coffee. Very stale and lacking any vibrancy. All it provided was caffeine and if that were the case I’d just get pre ground Folgers. If you do any type of pour over I’d suggest looking else where. If you like light roast bright coffee I suggest you go else where. Just flavorless beans with caffeine. Waste of money ... show more

Coffee is an acquired taste, and opinions vary, but for me personally, this is exactly the kind of coffee I love. I’ll try anything, but over the years I find myself continuously drawn back to coffee from Ethiopia. I personally like lighter roasts, as I can taste more flavors that get lost in darker roast. This coffee has tons of flavor, and is light and crisp. I’ve brewed it both in an aeropress (amazing), and french press (very good, but the grinds are too fine for that process). Even when I first opened the bag I knew I was in for a treat. It smelled fresh, which sometimes isn’t always the case when buying on Amazon. I wish they offered a whole bean option. I prefer grinding my own beans both for the freshness and also because french press is my daily driver. That being said, I’ll still buy this coffee for when I want a quick aeropress. Delicious! My star ratings explained: 5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends. 4 stars = Exceeded expectations. 3 stars = Met expectations. Satisfied with purchase but not overwhelmed. 2 stars = Failed to meet expectations but usable. 1 star = Avoid. ... show more
