  • Good lunch coffee
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
I am a coffee addict and have been trying more beans lately than pre-ground so when I saw this I figured I would give it a shot. It came packaged just fine with no defects or spills that I could see. Getting it out I chose to grind it medium and added it to a reusable k cup. I fired up my Keruig and set it for 12 oz strong and got to brewing. It smelled fantastic and I took a sip. It was pretty good, not my normal morning coffee but I could see this being a good lunch or dinner one. All in all, I like this coffee but like I said more for a lunch one than anything else as I like a kick-in-the-pants coffee in the morning. ... show more

  • Bland
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
This coffee does NOT taste like an Ethiopian, and it doesn't taste like a light roast. Color is off for a light roast, too. Came vacuum sealed so beans can't outgas. Tastes like gas station coffee, but if that's what you like, then you've hit the jackpot.

Delicious. I wish there were more reasonably priced single origin coffees on Amazon.

  • A little blander than I expected, not bad though
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
I like to try out tons of different coffee's so I was excited to try this out. Generally I'm a dark roast/ french roast type of coffee drinkers so that may have come into play here but this just didn't have that much flavor to me. The coffee is easy to drink as it's not as acidic as I'm use to it just felt like if I didn't add something to it there wasn't much there. If your looking for a good coffee to put additives in this will probably be great for you, but if you tend to just drink it black it may leave you a little wanting. ... show more

  • Pretty poor light roast
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
This was not a great bag of coffee. Very stale and lacking any vibrancy. All it provided was caffeine and if that were the case I’d just get pre ground Folgers. If you do any type of pour over I’d suggest looking else where. If you like light roast bright coffee I suggest you go else where. Just flavorless beans with caffeine. Waste of money ... show more

  • Ethiopian coffee with an extremely unique flavor profile!
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
This has to be the very first time I have ever tried a coffee bean with oat and peach accents to it, let alone actually taste it! Very unique flavor profile, and in a way it works. To note, I always try out a new whole bean with my french press and using this method really gave me a great idea on the flavor profile. The aroma is so spicy! Its very spicy and fragrant with what smells like citrus and mace. It does state on the bag that it has a jasmine aroma to it, but I personally couldn't sense that. Oat is what you taste first, and overwhelmingly so. There's a slight bitterness, too, but strong hints of toasted oat is what I tasted first when sipping. The aftertaste was more like a combo of vanilla and a roasted peach, and it actually really brought the overall flavor together. Highly interesting! For an unique experience you just have to try once, I'll definitely recommend giving this bean a try. ... show more

  • good coffee, nice aroma
Style: Ethiopia, Medium Light Roast - Whole Bean
This coffee has a very nice aroma and is very smooth tasting. I brewed it in my instant one machine, I filled the reusable pod and made 8oz of coffee from each pod. The coffee has a very unique flavor and good aroma from the brew. The coffee is medium roast, which is just right for me. It's not too bitter like dark roast but also not too light like light roast. It goes well with milk, I didn't feel the need to add sugar. It was an enjoyable coffee, I'd highly recommend. ... show more
