I absolutely LOVE these pens. I do a lot of Rock painting and needed these for the fine details. They don't bleed out and make messes which is great. They are very thin lines that get painted and even if you don't have a steady hand, because I don't, you can still paint very straight lines. The paint dries fairly quickly on rocks, I have not used them on anything other than rocks so I can't say if it works on anything else, you can see the pictures that I have put on the review. These are amazing fine tip, very opaque markers. They write so very well and the fine tip is able to help you with the very small intricate details which makes these markers so easy to use. The colors are a true black and true white which provide excellent coverage. The materials that these markers are made of create a marker that will stand the test of time. Grabie never disappoints! I use many of their products and they are all great. These markers write so smooth and color great. They have a plastic tip so you’re never using a dulled out rounded tip. Great for small coloring spaces.

Love these acrylic markers! First time I’ve tried Grabie brand and now I want to get more. They are easy to make fine lines with this tip. The paint flows smoothly. The colors are very saturated and one coat is all I’ve needed on my rocks even though I paint directly on the rock - no base primer or gesso or anything. They’re a little bit more expensive than some of the others, but with only needing one coat, they may end up being more cost effective in the long run. These pens are good, they aren’t great but they work pretty well for most things. I have been using these white and black grabie pens for atleast a couple years now. Though they have a few downsides, I find myself always coming back to them. Pros are they last a very long time. After like 2 years my old black pen ran out of ink, so I got this pack. I think these are very good for outlining drawings, and they dry pretty quickly. They are pretty cheap especially for this pack, which I like. Cons are that they tend to run out of ink while drawing a lot so I frequently have to keep pressing the nib down for more ink, which can be annoying when I’m coloring with a lot of black. It can also dry with a strange texture, making it have a rough streaky texture at times, but this can be useful and look nice depending on what you are doing. The white paint pens can be pretty opaque like 80% of the time, and they make great pens for adding highlighting to things, I think I personally like the white pens a bit more than the black. Overall, I find myself using these a lot mostly out of the fear of trying anything else and hating it since I’m broke, so I continue to use these until I come across anything better. If you want an inexpensive black and white paint pen set that will last awhile, I do recommend these to an extent. Attached picture to demonstrate streaky texture of the black. ... show more

I use paint markers for coloring and this is a great set. I use the white markers to add highlights or to cover up errors and extra lines. The black are great for creating clean lines. The nibs are firm and the markers are easily primed for use. High quality and nicely pigmented.

So they are a perfectly nice metallic marker but no where close to the advertisements that you see showing shimmering colors filled with glitter! I meant if you hold it in the right light you can see some shimmer if you concentrate on it. Nice enough as a metallic marker though, hence the 3 stars but definitely not living up to the claims that these are going to create a shimmering pool of color in your sketchbook. Beware if buying them for a kid that has seen the claims, I was disappointed but I’m 57 so I’ve been disappointed before. If I were 7 it might have been upsetting. ... show more
