These things are amazing. I ran them at the top of my liner on an above ground pool. The adhesive is great quality it’s made by 3M and it sticks and stays. They have been in use for about two months now with no problems. The colors are unbelievable. And they are barely noticeable. I expect they will last for many years based on the quality of the materials. I have tried other cheaper brands outside and they tend to be a waste of money either the adhesive stinks and they begin to fall down or they stop functioning. These are definitely on the expensive side. The build quality seems to justify the price. As far as the app goes, it could use some improvement in terms of user friendliness, but to be fair, I am not the most patient person. If you take the time to learn all the functionality of the app, you can get these lights do crazy things. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Okay so I don't normally do reviews unless I like a product.1st I bought other led lights for my house.The app is very difficult to use to set colors & patterns. Even when selecting the style it doesn't work right.I decided to order these.Unfortunately I didn't order the longer set in order to complete my deck.So now I have to figure out how to get the right size to finish my deck.Plus I'm going to order another set to redo my house.I'm going to need the 98.4ft to do the house & either another 98.4 & 2 64.I had gotten the other brand cause I was able to get 200ft. Pros app is pretty easy.Con the screws are horrible not enough clips wish they came in bigger sets not split makes in difficult to run so I don't have to figure out the plug. I had to buy better screws and more clips. Customer service is good they respond they did refund me for the clips I had to buy.I took me 4 days to install a set of 64 and 32. I just wish I would have known how much I needed to do the whole deck it would have been cheaper along with now having to buy for the house again. I have to have someone do the house cause I can't do it and doing the deck killed me I have a lot of shoulder and neck issues. My 2 neighbors want to do these lights as well so if they hold up they will buy them. If the company wants to help me out it getting the new sets to promote them. I'm all for it. ... show more

love our govee lights. We have some for outdoor and love that I can keep them up all year and change the lights as I please with just a push of a button from my phone app. It was super easy to install, looks classy, the adhesive has been strong enough to endure NM heat and sand storms. One thing to watch out for is that the rolls are to be installed in a certain order, we didn’t not realize this and installed out of order so when changing the lights we have to be mindful of that. ... show more

I bought this product a year ago, so figured it was time to leave a review. If you’re thinking of buying this absolutely take the plunge and buy them. We have had them for a year now with zero issues. App is pretty easy to use and connectivity is simple. You can set timers and a set schedule for the lights to turn on and off. You can customize pretty much everything about them in the app. They have preset templates for the holidays, different themes, whatever. Or if you don’t like any of them you can make your own! You can change the colors, pattern, speed, etc and save your templates. As for durability we haven’t had any issues. They’ve been up since Nov 2023 and have been through hurricane weather, extreme heat, and hail storms and no damage to the box, wiring, or lights. Of course, they have been under the overhang of our room all year so they haven’t been in the direct weather, but they have for sure gotten wet and done fine. They’re a little bit pricey if you don’t get them on sale, but they’re meant to be a permanent decoration/light solution so even if you buy them at full price, they pay for themselves in my opinion. ... show more
