Once you get the colors where you want them, these lights are very immersive and a great addition to a home theater. The app works seamlessly and it’s easy to install. I placed the side lights on the side of my TV stand since it wasn’t wide enough to fit them on top and it works great. Very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. I recently got my hands on the Govee P1 DreamView Kit, and I must say, it’s been quite the experience. This kit promises to sync RGB lights to your TV using a camera, creating a colorful, immersive experience, and it certainly delivers. First off, the installation process was surprisingly straightforward, both for the hardware and the software. It was a simple matter of following the instructions, and before I knew it, everything was set up. The kit comes with everything you need, making it quite user-friendly. But the ease of installation is just the beginning. The vibrancy, accuracy, and responsiveness of the colors this kit produces are absolutely top-notch. Whether I was watching a movie, playing a video game, or just chilling with some music videos, the Govee P1 DreamView Kit added a whole new level of visual enjoyment. Moreover, the Govee app offers limitless customization options, which I found to be a significant plus. You can play around with the settings until you get just the effect you’re looking for, making each viewing experience uniquely yours. However, no product is perfect, and the Govee P1 DreamView Kit is no exception. The one area where I ran into some trouble was syncing the color to the TV. It took a bit of time and patience to get it right. But once you’ve got it set up, the result is definitely worth the initial effort. In my opinion, the Govee P1 DreamView Kit truly shines when paired with other Govee DreamView lights.     • Mildly annoying to install, great results 8/10
These lights look so good on my TV. Setup is mildly time consuming and annoying but I wouldn't say it's hard. All the parts seem of good quality. My one complaint with this setup has to do with the light bars. They recommend the bars be 20" from each side of the TV so it doesn't interfere with the color output, but if your TV is wall mounted and it's too high up from your media stand, the cord connecting the light bars to the rest of the govee setup will be too short to properly space them out. I'm sure I'll be able to fix this with a couple usb c extentions. That said, my light bars DO have an impact on the color output of the bottom corners of the led strips but after playing with the white balence and saturation in the settings, its not too noticeable, espically when you're actually watching something or playing a game. You would only really notice it if the screen was a solid white. I don't think I mentioned this earlier but what I mean by interference only applies if your light bars are too close and you are trying to use the color match setting where the govee camera is being used. Okay I lied I have one more small gripe with it. The led strips when you set them to match what's on the screen change colors in segments, not individual pixels. I wish the segments were at least a little smaller but the effect is still nice for what I spent on this (I think I got it on sale for ≈ $100) Overall I am happy with this product. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their gaming experience. The app has A LOT of cool features. It's a little overdesigned in my opinion. It's almost like they tried to make it so user friendly, that it somehow had the opposite effect and became slightly less intuitive than youd expect. But once you get the hang of it you can really do a lot with the app. You can even sync up these lights to any other govee lights in your ecosystem. That's probably my favorite part. Works great with google assistant. Try watching something colorful with lots of pinks and blues and greens. A magical girl anime for example. 8/10 overall well done Govee, if you're reading this and have an elegant way to mount my light bars beside the TV, please let me be your product tester <3 ... show more

    • More than a gimmick
Bought this on sale for a great deal, figuring it's be a nice novelty that we'd forget about after using a few times. But I've had it for almost a year and we use it all the time! Even gets wide approval! Really enhances tv viewing and video gaming. Easy to install, configure, and control.

I've seen some decent LED strips before, but these ones are on a whole other level. The DreamView T1 Pro is like stepping into a video game or something. It's insane! I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking it might be one of those gimmicky smart lights that don't actually do much, but oh boy, these things deliver. The color changing, the brightness, the sync with music and movies - it's all just so seamless and awsome! I mean, I've had friends over who've never seen anything like this before, and they're always blown away. I'm giving these a solid 5 stars becuase they're literally one of the best smart lighting purchases I've ever made. If you're lookin' to take your room (or office or whatever) to the next level.
