To be honest with you, my first expression was not so great - after about 5-7 days of my 7 year old riding the scooter, the battery died. Tried everything I could think of, but ended up reaching out to support. You know what - they turned this around in no time and instead of getting a new battery, they sent me a brand new scooter! My daughter absolutely loves. The scooter the quality is great. It goes fast the Only thing I wish the lights were on their own switch and not connected to the gas buttons. There is no option to turn lights off lights make battery life shorter

Love this scooter. It arrived well packaged and without a scratch. Easy to set-up. Feels solid and well-constructed, with no loose and ungainly wires, and everything nicely covered and tucked away. The ride is surprisingly smooth and cut a couple of sidewalk corners riding some unpaved terrains. Overall, my first ride experience has been great. The first thing you would notice is how well they have shipped it. I notice first thing is that the way they distribute the weight, picking up and moving this scooter is quick and easy with a simple and lock tight folding mechanism. Another thing that is great is the big solid tires that come with this scooter, they allow for an easy ride where you don't have to worry about a flat tire and are big enough to take the worry of hitting potholes. Personally, I don't think you could find a better-built electric scooter at this price range. There is a lot of pros without many cons, I honestly can't find a part of this scooter I personally don't like. Everything aside, for a scooter at this price range, been using it for a week now I have had absolutely no issues with it, and every time I ride it, I only feel inclined to ride it more and more. It performs well in its price range. Sturdy build, lots of power to spare and a wonderful ride overall. This is the second GKS scooter for me. The first one was Zoom. It was excellent, it worn out after almost 3 years. This first Plus was not so good, I contacted the customer service , they sent me a replacement. This one is excellent. The customer service was great when I contacted them. The GKS is very easy to assemble with tools provided. Just a few screws, maybe with the help of WD40. Not too fast, that's why it is good for kids to start scooting. This Plus model has lights and beeping sound for safety. The distance is quite reasonable . Wheel are solid rubber and have a good grip on the road. I love it for the neighborhood shopping, within a mile radius. Acceleration and braking are from the sensors on the standing platform, very sensitive. The rear wheel cover helps the braking too. This is quite different from hand braking system. A little practice , but quite easy to control With the platform not so high, it is absolutely safer, especially for kids. ... show more
