My daughter has had this scooter for 3 weeks. It’s been working fine and well cared for. Today it shows an error 3 code and will not work. We’ve contacted the company to see if they will replace. I’ll update our review based on their response. Amazon will not help after 30 days and we are unfortunately out of that window because we ordered it about a month early for my daughter’s birthday gift but it sat in the box for that time. With delays on things we just wanted to be sure it got here in time. Very frustrating when your child is looking forward to using their new scooter in the July 4th parade and then it stops working out of nowhere. At this point, I would not recommend this product. UPDATE: While I was still disappointed about the product failing so soon after we purchased it, I am changing my review because the seller, unprompted and without me reaching out, reached out to me to send me a replacement product. Lynette helped me solve the issues with the failed scooter by sending me a new one! Lynette had great customer service. She was very responsive to my emails and followed up with me consistently to ensure things went smoothly with the replacement product. I appreciate the level of customer service provided by Lynette. If you do purchase this scooter, I would recommend buying from this company because they do work to ensure their customers are satisfied. Thanks Lynette! ... show more

8/21/23 Update: After contacting GoTrax directly (despite the warranty discrepancy between sites) I documented the issues and they actually replaced the scooter. Outstanding customer service despite the issues we had with one of our two scooters. 8/1/23 This is supposed to have a "Worry Free Warranty"-"365 Day Limited Warranty" per the official GoTrax Amazon page it's advertised on. We bought two of them. One of them is in perfect working order. The other was a "lemon" with multiple issues. The front tire fell apart, the scooter wont close (it will partially fold but not all the way), it runs out of battery in roughly 5 minutes of riding and it rattles. Also, the warranty claim page shows only 180 days on GoTrax site. As of right now, the Amazon page says 365 day limited warranty. 1/23The Blue one, and by Blue, I mean light Teal, is perfect for my daughter. Was very happy with the scooter despite the incorrect description. So much so that I ordered Red for my son. It's 98% light Pink, touch of Coral with only three small plastic parts and the breakdown lever that are actually Red. Fantastic scooter in terms of power, battery life and rid-ability and have liked other GoTrax kids products, just be nice if the colors were advertised correctly. ... show more

After a few rides, I was pleasantly surprised by the value I received with this scooter. Most importantly for me, navigating the city is now much faster and more convenient. Compared to other electric scooters in its range, it offers an excellent balance of performance and affordability. The scooter's ergonomic features, including the comfortably really wide handlebars and integrated display, make every ride enjoyable. Also thanks to the engineers for the hook and smart folding mechanism; they've significantly enhanced the scooter's functionality and user experience.     • Error code and burning plastic/smoke.....Wheels wear out extremely fast

**********LATEST UPDATE********* VERY DISPLEASED********** These scooters appear to be really well made but they are just not built to last. We own two of these (one is used by a 6/7 year old, the other a 8/9 year old). Both scooters have had their issues, now one is fully unfunctional and appeared to be burning within the console/battery connection. After already replacing the tires on both scooters, and one of the handle bar consoles, today my sons scooter had an error E3....I looked up the error (= handlebar failure) and it said to remove the handle bars and clean off the connection between the console and the battery, if this does not work, replace the console. While I unscrewed the console, I smelled burning plastic and the connection between the battery and the console was smoking. Needless to say, the scooter no longer functions at all. So after 5 months, the tires needed replaced, the motor wheel on one needed replaced, a handle bar console on the other needed replaced, and now one of the scooters was burning and does not function. I want to love these scooters, because my boys love these scooters, but for the price they do not seem to be built for children who use them daily. *******UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST BELOW******** Customer service was amazing, and GoTrax shipped me all new parts to correct all of the issues that I had. Excellent response time and service! *********ORIGINAL POST BELOW********* I purchased two of these scooters for my children. First I would like to say the scooters are pretty awesome, my kids love them. I have two structural issues with the scooters. First, the rear wheels of the scooters wear out extremely fast. One of my sons wore completely through the rear wear in under 2 months. The scooter not bumps like crazy and is super noisy. My other son definitely has signs of flat portions on the rear wheel which also leads to bumps. One of the springs in the accelerator buttons has also broken and the push button accelerator needs to be manually lifted to disengage the power...seems like it can get pretty dangerous if he needs to stop fast and forgets the accelerator needs disengaged. The main issue is in fact the material of the rear wheels, really disappointing for a product which is not cheap. ... show more
