It's literally marketed as a guitar and bass string cutter, but like many before them they failed to make it hard enough to cut the steel treble strings. Not going to bother returning, there's a cost of my time and resources there I won't get back. Buyers beware.

The cutters are dull and weak. The handle is giving way already having used them about half dozen times. It’s not broken yet, but it will soon or the pliers will be absolutely useless cause the handles will touch.

Have not used them much, they may work, but the bad plastic work on the handle makes them pinch your hand like a cheap tool will. I carved off the offending plastic bit and they work to cut strings, but not sure how long they will stay sharp. Unfortunately these will not cut the frets, Ive tried on multiple frets wire and all that happens is that the handles flex. Hope at least they are good enough for copper or guitar strings. Dont buy em for frets though.
