This window cling looks really nice! We put it on our kitchen window (that opens upward, so top and bottom) and they definitely make it so you can't see inside or out. We tested it at night and you can barely see a shadow from the outside with the kitchen light on. It's definitely a really good privacy film. It's also thick and very sturdy, which is both a blessing and a curse. Installation was a little tricky which is why I knocked it down a star. Let me explain. Because it's so thick, this is REALLY hard to cut with a box cutter or a sharp blade. I used a brand new, out of the box razor blade and I couldn't get a straight cut to save my life. I put it up and then cut it, but the problem with that was I was worried about scratching up my window and frame with how hard I'd need to press down. Also, the film is so heavy that the top part just keeps rolling down, which also hindered me from getting a good cut because it wouldn't stay still. I ended up with a big tear instead of a clean line, so I had to order more. So instead of cutting it directly on the window, I measured it and cut it with the backing still on on a piece of cardboard and it went up A LOT easier. I recommend putting it up at night so you can see the bubbles better because during the day, it looked like I had gotten them all out, but when the sun went down I could see a bunch of small bubbles I missed. I'm hoping they'll go away on their own. Also, a tip for those who don't have a spray bottle to do the soap and water mixture- Windex works just as well. Just saturate the window with it and it'll stick on perfectly. It takes about an hour to fully adhere and it doesn't look like it's budging anytime soon! Overall, I recommend it! It just might take some trial and error.

It was very easy to apply and it stuck on so fast. Can be removed easily to correct mistakes. Make sure to follow directions. Spray enough water so there will be no bubbles. Looks good on the glass door and can only see shadows thru the door with plenty of light coming thru. Very pleased with the product.

I wish I would’ve bought this years ago. The whole process took about 10 minutes. The only suggestion I would make would be to use a spray bottle with a little dish soap as they suggest, fully saturate the area. We went outside and tried to look in and you can’t really see anything. Great product!

I need this privacy film for a narrow winfow next to my office door in a school. All I did was measure the film, cut it with scissors, wiped the window with a wet cloth and pressed it on. That was in August and it is almost 2 months and it hasn't come loose at all. You cannot see through it, you can tell if the light is on but that is it. Love this profuct.

I have window covers like this on other windows. I didn't like putting this one on my window. The backing is heavy and bent as I tried to pull it off, instead of gliding smoothly. The window cover stretched as I tried to remove the creases and air bubbles left by the awkward installation. It also did not trim easily. I won't buy this brand again.
