This umbrella is perfect. It is well put together and is the right size for a single person. We had some crazy weather the first day this arrived. I am talking sideways rain and wind that moved trees, something straight out of the Wizard of Oz minus the tornado and this little guy did well. Super easy open, touch of a button and it's fully open and ready to use. Great when taking dog out and only have one hand! To close, push the button again and the umbrella itself closes. However, you have to push really hard down on the handle to get it to click back into place into its compact size. Nearly impossible to do with one hand unless you use the ground to push it down into. Even with two hands it is tough, so not good for someone elderly or with little hand strength. Otherwise a really good umbrella, it feels sturdy and like it'll hold up over the years. Haven't used it in a lot of wind, but light breezes around 10 mph don't impact it at all.
