This is our first set and of the two this is my favorite! The blue is gorgeous to start and it’s so sturdy, I’ve spent at least 12 hours in it already. It goes with us everywhere. It’s super easy to set up and put away. The pocket is perfect for a speaker, book, or water bottle. Two people can fit comfortably in this hammock. Dries quickly and the material isn’t too hot. Pretty happy with this hammock. I have another one that is similar, and wanted to grab one more. Overall, I am happy with this one. I think, it's even better than the other (which, I really liked when I got it). The hammock feels durable and light weight. The storage pouch is plenty big, so no worries about repacking the hammock. I think the carabiners feel really on this hammock (better than my other one in fact). The feel solid and like they should function well. A big improvement over my other hammock is the tree straps on this one. My other just includes rope. That is easy enough to use, but these straps are a huge step up. However, there is one problem with them (which, is why I am giving 4 out of 5 stars) and that is the actual attachment points seem too far out on the tree straps. I ended up having to hang it pretty high on a thinner tree because of how much slack there is before the first attachment point for the carabiner. Would have been an easy change by the manufacturer to give you more options on length here. Not a huge deal, but with how nice these straps are otherwise, a bit of a disappointment. Overall, I'd buy another set if I end up needing a 3rd hammock!

I am very familiar with the Gorilla Grip line of products. I have several in my household that I love because of their quality and durability. I have their shower mat that's a few years old and still going strong, anti-fatigue mats in my kitchen that take a lot of abuse and still do the job well, as well as baking pans(with silicone handles) and a can opener that's several years old. I have always been happy with the quality and durability of products from this company. I was shocked to see the Gorilla Grip brand offer a product such as this hammock, but due to my brand loyalty and satisfaction, and my love of camping, I figured I had to give this a try. In my opinion, Gorilla Grip specializes in rubber and products that incorporate rubber, so I wasn't sure how that would translate into this hammock. The hammock itself is a very lightweight nylon that reminds me of a parachute martial. It's shear but feels sturdy. It's impressive construction, that's not double but triple stitched to provide strength along the seams where it would most likely wear first. The carabiners are very impressive and where all the weight is in transporting this hammock. They are very heavy duty, chunky, rock climber,-type carabiners that aren't going to fail any time soon. I bet they will outlast the fabric on this hammock. Then you have the 2 straps that are also impressively triple stitched for durability and longevity. That's where you see the Gorilla Grip quality shine thru. It's not in the fabric of hammock, but in the hardware. This hammock folds up easily in its own pocket, making it easy to carry and break down when done using. The comfort level will largely depend on how far apart the straps are. Tension on the straps crates a firmer seat, while less tension makes it much softer. It was easy to assemble, provided you have 2 accommodating trees or a hammock stand. It was super easy to disassemble, fold up and pack away. I am just so impressed with everything about this hammock. I rate this at 5 stars for the quality. It's an excellent value for the price, and I would absolutely recommend it, especially since I know they consistently produce good products. I never used a Gorilla Grip product that I didn't like. This hammock is no exception.

I also have a more substantial camping hammock with a bug net and rain fly, but I got this one as something quicker and easier to setup. I'm happy to report that it fits the bill and even has at least one thing I like better than my other one. First, I'm a tall guy and this still fits me no problem. Unless you're north of 7 feet tall I think this should fit fine. It's also comfortable. There's plenty of material so you can lie diagonally and spread the load like you're supposed to. The thing I actually like better than my other hammock is the straps. They're quite long and provide a lot of adjustment points for the tension of the hammock. I think this will allow much more flexibility in terms of where i can mount it than my other one (for which I had to buy climbing slings to extend the straps in some cases). The one place where I think the low cost shows is the carabiners, but that's expected at this price point. You can hardly expect them to include high quality ones that would cost more than this entire setup. That said, they're solid-feeling steel carabiners that should hold just fine. I wouldn't hang this anywhere dangerous (like over a significant drop) since they aren't rated, but I don't plan to do that anyway. It's also a pretty easy upgrade to pick up some nicer aluminum carabiners with a less sharp nose that won't snag on the straps. Overall very happy with it and would recommend if you're in the market.

This hammock is almost identical to one I bought years ago that I payed a LOT more for. And that one didn't even include tree straps which are included with this one. Tree straps are great...I wasn't sure to trust them the first time I used them but they do work well! The caribiners seem sturdy as does the construction. I would caution leaving any hammock outdoors all the time as UV will degrade the fabric and make it more prone to tears. The bright orange color is a safety flag if you like pitching your hammock in the woods where there may be hunting nearby, and the more subtle colors give plenty of options. The built in stuff sack insures you won't lose the bag in the wind too. The price is awesome for a lightweight hammock that will pack in your camp gear or kayak with ease. This makes a great gift for your outdoorsy friends. I'm keeping it in my car just in case I pass an inviting location I will be prepared for a chill out break!
