Since we're not using it as it is intended, I can't speak to how well it would work as a bathmat, except to say that I step on it all the time and it's soft, doesn't move, and is extremely easy to launder. This seems that it will last a long time. Follow washing/drying instructions--I did. I liked this so much, that I ordered a second as a rug at the sink (smaller bath rug is my step-on, right at the shower). I think you can't go wrong with this!

The top side of these mats are great. The material is very soft and absorbent. They are sturdy enough to be cleaned in the washing machine and dryer. My only complaint is that the backing is so incredibly waterproof that any water that does spill on the floor can collect underneath the mat and does not dry quickly.

I purchased these to replace the traditional bathmats that you normally see. I thought I would try something different. They work perfectly. I would like for the loops to be a little denser. There’s a significant amount of space between the loops. It would look nicer if it were filled in a little more. But they definitely do the job and they look very nice.
