This type of mat catches cat litter better than any other type and keeps it from getting tracked around the house. Since the litter box is in my bathroom I wanted it to double as a bath mat and to catch any litter my cat tracks out of his box. For some reason the yellow and stonewash colors are about one third the cost of all the other colors! They must be discontinued or something. I first got the yellow and it was too light and didn't match my decor well. Though despite other reviews saying that the mat slips, mine was very grippy and stayed in place always. I switched to the "stonewash" color. Although it's the same item and size, this one was a couple inches smaller than the yellow one. Also the rubber backing feels like a different material and it doesn't grip as well to my floor as the yellow color did. This explains why there are so many varying reviews about the mat's ability to stay in place. I guess it depends on the color you get? Or maybe they changed the rubber backing at some point? Anyway I'm still keeping this one because this color is more pleasing than the yellow. Would love to try more colors, but for $11 vs $30 I'll take this stonewash color. šŸ˜ƒ I got the matching toilet lid cover and it matches perfectly and fit on the toilet easily. Also, cat litter is no longer tracked all over the house. These chenille rugs work so much better than the rubber litter mats! ... show more

I just received this bathroom floor mat and have not had a chance to use it yet. Just finished renovation of our master bath and this mat is perfect...It washed well and I was amazed at how heavy it is so it should absorb well and I look forward to using it. Always had good luck with Gorilla products. UPDATE....after having an opportunity to use it....it's great! Thickness is heavenly stepping out of the shower. It definitely absorbs well ( on my newly tiled floor) and is non slip. Another great Gorilla Product. ... show more

I have bought many chenille rugs for the bathroom in different colors from all different brands. Iā€™ve always been satisfied because Iā€™m not picky, and as long as it matches the shower curtain, Iā€™m happy. However, this rug is made so much better than the others. It has a non-slip backing and itā€™s nice and thick. Itā€™s slightly higher in price but well worth the extra few dollars. Soft, nice color, easy to wash so far. The backing does not provide much grip. It isnā€™t slippery at all, but it is also not grippy. ā€œGrippyā€ rugs will lose their grip eventually; it can make for a very bad day for the person who expects it to stick. I would rather know every day that this is a rug that might move so I can step on it appropriately than wait for that day that a ā€œgrippyā€ rug gives way unexpectedly under my feet. ... show more

While I do like the Gorilla Grip Bath Rug, 44x26, Thick Soft Chenille Rubber Backing Bathroom Rug in Stonewash for it's softness, absorbency, and Stonewash color, the rug does not grip the bathroom porcelain floor tile as well as it should and therefore "walks" with foot traffic. Constantly have to reposition it. Like I said, I do like it, I just don't love it. Would I purchase Gorilla Grip rugs again? Probably not. ... show more

I purchased these smaller rugs because the doors were hanging up on the larger ones. This size fits perfectly in the small space and I am able to close the door without it dragging on the rug and stopping. The size is just right for your feet. They material is soft and they do not slide around when standing on them. I have not washed them yet but feel they will do well as they appear to be made very well. ... show more

I just received the rug so canā€™t attest to its absorbency or results of cleaning it yet. However, it is of high quality and feels so good to your feet. Itā€™s thick yet the pile is low enough that the bathroom door doesnā€™t catch on it. Iā€™ve ordered another for my second bathroom.
