I've tried numerous non-slip rug pads but they always end up sliding around on the tile floor, especially with animals playing around on them. But these have kept my 10 foot runner in place for over a months without budging or lifting (I did put two additional strips on each of the long sides to eliminate tripping). I've vacuumed the rug AND our cat insists on sharpening her claws at the corners, but the rug hasn't budged! I'm now putting them on all of our rugs that are on tile. ... show more

    • These Gorilla Grippers Do The Job!

I have a large German Shepard Dog (GSD) that curled up at the edge of my living room area rug every time he laid down for a snooze in his favorite place. Not only was the turned up wrinkled rug unsightly, but as an older person, I was always concerned about tripping and falling. It was a daily job to straighten the rug, and the folds that occurred over time were always visible, until I tried the Gorilla Grip Rug Grippers. These little gems not only straighten out the folds in the carpet, they also prevented my GSD from curling the rug up. He still naps in his favorite location, but no more problems with a curling rug. The issue is completely resolved. Thank you Gorilla Grip! Highly Recommended!!! PS: I used these rug grippers on a second area rug in the dining room with one curled up corner. The installation on this rug was my first attempt. I did not position them correctly. I have not yet attempted to removed and re-install the rug grips at this location, so I am not sure how well that works yet, but I plan to try soon. PSS: I have other Gorilla Grip products in my home and found each one does their intended job just as well as these Rug Grippers do.     • These work great on rugs that won't lie flat

I ordered a set of these as a test. My older mother bought some rugs that will not lie flat on their own, despite having tried heat, curling under, books, etc. Nothing worked. I was very concerned about her tripping on the edge, as these rugs are in her bedroom. I have tried a few other products, but none worked. These work. There are two sides of adhesion - one for the rug and one for the floor. They are easy to apply to the rug material. Once in place, I removed the cover on the floor adhesive side and pressed down. It works. No more curling. The product is advertised as removable. As a quick test, I pulled one up and moved it. It still works. It's too early to tell how they will fare in long term use, but they are advertisd for hardwood floors, so I'll watch to see the effect, if any, on the wood. I've now ordered more of these strips to make sure no rugs are slip/trip hazards. I recommend them. ... show more

Great product. After 3 years of continuously repositioning the rug at my front door after the kids dog or door moved it even with waffle pad underneath I bought this and haven’t so much as thought about my front door rug. My only issue or concern is if I want to clean underneath the rug or clean the rug (which is extremely rare because it’s a natural fiber rug) then I’d have to remove and install new non slip. However, that’s a small price to pay based off of the heart ache I have been saved from not having to move the rug with a 75 pound dog standing on it when someone is trying to come in my door. ... show more

Id gotten a new rug for my living room. Unfortunately it slid pretty easily. Not wanting to fall on my ass, I got on Amazon to find something to anchor the rug and keep it from moving around. Based on the reviews, I chose the Gorilla Grip Rug Grippers. Let me tell you, these things work great! I have a medium sized dog and two cats who regularly run full speed through the house chasing each other. The rug hasn't moved even when being used as a make-shift NASCAR track. We have had these for about 3yrs! I didn't even know it had been that long! We have them on the hallway rug, and it has been great! Recently realized our rug has shifted just a little, and was looking for the directions for cleaning and reusing. Bottom sticky works great for reusing. But can't figure how to get the fibers off top of gripper to "reset" the whole thing. Will most likely repurchase to replace. But for 3yrs use under $10 totally worth it! ... show more

I recently bought an area rug for the living room that claimed to be non-slid. That is not true at all. I have a dog that gets the zoomies and the rug just bunched up and moved all over the place. I didn't use these on the corners, I went with another brand for the corners, but I put these on all sides of the rug. They have been on about a week and the rug hasn't budged at all. Since I haven't tried to pull it up yet, I can't attest to residue, or how easily I can remove it, but I love them so far! I'm just glad the rug is staying put! ... show more

Easy to peel and stick. I even had to quick take it off the carpet to move it back and I didn’t have any problems doing it and it still stuck to the floor no problem. I haven’t tried peeling them off the floor to see if they leave a residue or not but it gets the job done!
