Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this "Salvador Dali" look for a watch. I have a small collection of similarly designed watches because of how awesome they are as conversation starters. That being said, I picked up this particular watch for my mother, who is in her mid-70's, and wanted to give her something quirky, interesting, and very different from her norm. The watch itself is small, and dainty which suits a petite female's wrist incredibly well. Setup was easy, and the piece is very presentable - giving others the impression that you really shelled out some money to make a statement, while staying classy and understated enough to wear anywhere, any time. My only gripe, as was my mother's was the band itself. I struggled to try to understand how this particular one works. I've had leather/clasp hybrid bands plenty of times before for my men's watches, but this one specifically is a little awkward. I think I know what they were going for, but the execution of it was ... complicated to put it mildly. I think I found a way to make it work for her, but I can't help but think that this band could have been done much simpler while still achieving the same effect. Since I've given this to her, I've been on the lookout for a replacement band just to keep it simple and usable for her - otherwise, I still like the look, the style, and the aim of it. ... show more

The watch itself is nice, but the folding clasp is terrible... It is difficult to adjust and get around your wrist without undoing it... You cannot change the strap because it is a proprietary design...

I bought this watch mostly because of how cool and different it looked—kind of like a piece of wearable art. The “melting” design definitely grabs attention, and I’ve gotten a few compliments when wearing it out. The roman numerals and vintage bracelet style give it an old-school charm. That said, I wouldn’t call it a heavy-duty or super accurate timepiece. It’s more for casual wear or to complete an outfit, not something I’d rely on every day.
