Although I wouldn't utilize this as a main bar for a bunch of rowdy party fiends, it serves as a most excellent space beside my real bar that is accessed only by the bartender. The shelf is surprisingly sturdy for light items such as extra drink condiments, plastic cups and napkins. The space underneath the bar is perfect for heavier items. The height of the bar is perfect. It took less than a minute to set it up & the carrying case is adequate. The bar was shipped in its selling packaging & I was a bit worried that it would arrive intact. UPDATE JULY 2015: I'm changing my review from one star to five stars and updating my review. It is now July 2015 and ever since I got a rubber mallet to tab the hinges closed, I have had zero issues with opening and folding this bar. I take this bar tailgating, to pool parties, birthday parties in the backyard. It's great. One thing that has not changed is the lower shelf... it does not support bottles of liquor across the span of the shelf; it would break the shelf. I store four bottles below: two on each far side, closest to the leg supports and the center of the shelf hold Solo cups, bags of chips etc. You can only place lightweight stuff in the center. Ok so first the bar is great for its size. Slim and sturdy top. The inner shelf is flimsy and really should be made as well as the top surface but it is not. Therefore this shelf is only good for storing cups and bags of chips, that sort of thing. Placing two bottle of two liter soda causes the shelf to sag. So don't think you can store cans of beer on it. You can't. More importantly and oddly enough, once you unfold the legs you cannot collapse them without breaking them / bending the metal hinges. So there goes my idea of taking this thing to pool parties. I broke the hinge trying to fold it so I returned it to Amazon and got a replacement. This time I put Vaseline on the hinges thinking that would make it easier to close but it didn't.....any force applied to collapse the legs will bend the hinges and break the table, making it useless. I didn't bother returning it. It's now a permanent addition to our basement. If you need to fold and store it, don't bother buying this.. ... show more

I bought this table to keep my cash box/bags, etc. hidden from sight during an art show, so I never used it as a bar, but it worked great for me! It truly is super lightweight and comes together really quickly. Because it is so lightweight it is a little flimsy, but it never really caused me any problems. My only wish is that it had come with a white wrap as well as the other three (or even JUST a white wrap). I ended up making my own cover for it, and it worked out fine. Perfect for my needs. The table is light and easy to transport. It is sturdy enough to serve it's purpose. I added a solid white tablecloth over the entire stand and it makes the appearance look even more professional. The "wraps" that come with it will serve their purpose just fine, though. There is a hidden shelf in the back of the bar that is convenient for keeping essential items out of sight (napkins, extra buckets, etc). This will be just fine for our holiday party where we set up a make shift bar inside the house. I would stay way from loading up the entire tabletop with heavy liquor bottles as I don't think it will hold all of the weight, but for serving purposes....it will be just fine! ... show more

I bought this table because I demo for a company and I heard from another demo person that this table was lightweight and easy to set up. It is a huge plus because I am small and lugging all this stuff with me is a bit much for me. So far, it’s been ok. It is wobbly due to how skinny/narrow it is. I dented one of the legs (not a huge deal), the shelf included is flimsy and the trim is falling apart. I have had for a few months and demo 5days a week. The carrying bag is fraying. It was not sewn with an edge so the nylon is fraying because the Velcro on legs tears it. So, if you’re going to use this table for everyday use or a professional job, I suggest a sturdier more heavy duty table.
