We bought this for our condo balcony in Florida. We only received one box and after opening we quickly realized there should of been a second box. We notified the seller and they apologized and shipped the second box which we got several days later. When we unboxed the pieces we noticed damage to two pieces. Not wanting to go through the hassle of doing a return I touched up the deep scratches with a colored putty stick. They should of included a putty touch up stick with the exact color but this was the best I could do with what I had. The assembly was easy and even though the top roof piece had a roofing material on it I would never subject this storage shed to the weather in Florida. If it gets rained on water will definitely get inside and the wood and finish will never hold up in the Florida sun and humidity. It is perfect for a screened in balcony that doesn’t get wet and it looks very nice and we get many compliments. We think it is also way overpriced but if the costs doesn’t matter and you plan to place it out of the weather and where termites can’t get to it it was the nicest storage shed we saw on Amazon and looks very nice.

the door has already started to pull away from the hinge, the parts are warped which puts stress on the screws. The wood is so soft that the screws cause splitting. I've had it for 1 day and the handle has already split without touching it. it looks very beautiful and it is easy to assemble, but for over $300, this will surely not last and therefore is a poor investment. i will be returning.

I just finished assembling this chest or whatever you want to call it. It is VERY light, the wood feels like it's made from old pallets. I would guess that the total weight is about 15-20 lbs. The instructions are about as good as Ikea products, not horrible but not great. The important thing to remember is that the pitch of the roof is towards that back, that's going to help you just figure it out. There's no way this product is going to hold up outdoor in the elements, meaning sun and rain, and even if you wanted to put it outside everything inside would get soaked in a rainstorm, there's no protection even though the roof is pretty nice, it's most sturdy part. Once it's put together it actually looks pretty good but it feels cheap, and that's why it doesn't deserve more than 3 stars overall. It's way overpriced because the wood is like particle board. For me, I'm putting outside but under a porch so it will not be impacted by the elements, though I would suggest that if you put in a high wind area that you take a 45 lbs. flat weight and put it on the top so it doesn't topple over. I can see why this piece got such mixed reviews because it's neither good or bad, it is what it is...an overpriced very well marketed and photographed item. Lastly, let me say that it looks bigger in the pictures it is very shallow and short, so don't think you're going to much.

We needed something that wouldn’t blow over to keep our shoes in at our back door! Seems flimsy during assembly but it’s not at all! Adjustable feet are a huge plus!! Air can get through enough to allow damp shoes to dry but also keeps them safe from weather!! Ours is under covered patio. Little tricky to put together but look closely and pictures and it can be done!! Very happy!

Really easy to put together, I did it myself and only asked for help from husband when putting doors on (extra hands helped). It felt super rickety as I was putting it together and I was worried I would regret the purchase. Once it was all together it felt more solid and was really quite gorgeous. I had planned to put it on the side of the house, but instead decided to keep it on our front porch where we can see it every day, and where there's a level floor and some protection from the elements. It's really beautiful. We use it for everything I had hoped to store in there, and now my porch looks well put together as well. Fairly thin walls but it's held up to the weather (rain and sun) for several months and I expect it to last quite well.

My wife and I love this cabinet. It has leveling feet and is perfect for our back porch. I have this 5 stars for ease of assembly. It's very easy to assemble! I have this three stars for weatherproof for only a couple reasons. 1. It is exposed wood with no treatment. 2. The open slats on the front will not hold up to years of direct rain or sunlight. I have this 4 stars for sturdiness only because it has some flez on uneven surfaces.
