My niece and nephew always try to play air hockey at the mall; however, their a little small to reach and not getting the full fun of the game. Therefore, I decided to look for a smaller version for them to play, for their size, when they come over to play. I found this one, a good size and very nice specs, and I had to get one to try. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to assemble. I like how the instructions are step-by-step and easy to understand. The whole assembly took five minutes to do. Secondly, it works great. I like how it puts out a constant amount of air over the whole board, and the pucks glide nicely over it too. I also like how it automatically scores the pucks as they go through the slots. I also like how it has game scoring on each side to keep track of the games won. Something that it does not do on the larger ones. I also like how it has a good amount of power cord, and it is easily played from a distance from the outlet. Lastly, I an very happy that my six and eight-year-old niece and nephew love it. They can easily play it on their own, and over the last month, this one has been the go-to when coming in the door. The media could not be loaded. Assembly was pretty straightforward and easy. Game played liked a charm and kept our kids entertained for some time. My only qualm about this product - and perhaps expected for its low price - is that the digital score keeper is mounted flimsily along the side of the game table. It could snap off at some point. It also was not always accurate in counting goals, but when you assemble the goals, be sure to mount them onto the table as low as you can for the sensor (presuming it is somewhere at the top of the goal) to record any scores. Retrieving the disc can sometimes also trigger a score. I would keep track of the goals using the manual method instead. Overall, fun little table. ... show more

I purchased this for my nephew. He loves it. The assembly wasn't too bad. However. I did a hard time with the digital score display. There were no holes for the screws. I had to create holes. Other than that, it's great.

Took an hour and a half to put together- my granddaughter is eight and my grandson is seven - they have played since Christmas Day and they're kind of rough and it still feels pretty sturdy I know it's only been a week but it's still in good shape after a week of constant use.
