They put it together by themselves using the instructions provided, so clearly very easy to assemble she loves that it was both skinny and tall and it fit exactly where she had room and was hoping it would fit! It has a foot pedal that can change the color of the lights. It can also change the pattern from still to blinking, etc… it is beautiful! NO inner branches all on the end you can see the metal frame, has purple lights weird, doesn't look as natural as we read here on other reviews, SUPER easy to setup! very bright, wish we could tone it down, LOTS of light combo options! We'll keep it, it fits nice in our small townhouse. I'm thinking I'll buy some garlin for the center to hide the metal next year. ... show more

The surprise comes from the light modes! Thought it would only have two modes: static warm white and colorful. But it actually has about 9 different lighting modes!
