Did not work right out of the box. They quickly refunded my money. It was a big hassle reboxing it and getting it down to UPS. I ended up having the original alternator rebuilt for the same price. What a mess!

So far it works it has a high pitched wine when its on . Its not to loud but audible. For the price still a good deal and amazon is the best of the best.

    • Forget about the warranty. They won't honor it!
Alternator failed in a month. Literally burned at the post. Melted my cable end. I contacted the supplier. They told me they don't exchange or refund, to contact Amazon. Amazon wouldn't refund me because it was over 30 days old. What a waste of money!

Comes packaged in a cardboard box. Box was damaged. You can see it had been thrown around. Product itself was damaged, tooth broken. Turned crank and it was making grinding sounds. Was not gonna put it in like that. Sent back for refund and won’t order again. Went with one from AC Deco as was recommended by ford dealer.
