I have to say that this is a must have if you have an outside google camera. Works fantastic and I don’t have to worry about charging. I would recommend getting the longer size so that you have a way to run it to the best plug in. We have outlets in our attic that we just need to run this up into the attic. Who knew we needed a charger for the wired Nest? Seems like the installer would’ve provided one or at least shared that information with us. Anyway, purchased this, came quick. Charged for 5 hours and I’m guessing we won’t need another charge for several months. Worth the buy!

It's best to buy the "official" charger/cable when dealing with pricey electronics. I've had other brands fail or damage my cameras. The Google brand cables are more expensive for sure but worth the extra cost.

This cable isn't as hard to use as some described; you just have to match the pins up. The cable is good quality. I cannot say how it would do if used to connect cameras outdoors as we take the cameras off to recharge them. But they look like they would work fine as they fit nice and snug.
