This gift card didn't work. I called the number on the card, and the automated system said the card wasn't recognized. It asked for a zip code, but there is no zip code associated with an eGift card. I tried to speak to an agent and it said the wait to talk to a representative was over 4400 minutes. FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED. More than a 3 day wait??? Thankfully Amazon resolved my problem, but this card company wasn't going to do anything because they obviously don't want customers to have any recourse when something goes wrong. I was trying to send money to my son who lives in another state and lost his job. He's literally going hungry right now because I made the mistake of purchasing this gift card that didn't work. My refund will take days. Although I'm glad to have the refund on the way, my son can't eat today. ... show more

DO NOT BUY!! THIS IS BADICALLY FRUAD!!! You cannot use it anywhere. Nearly every app refuses to take it as a payment method. You cant pay bills with it. You cant add it to your mobile wallet like your digital wallet. The only place it worked was with Amazon itself or to buys games on the Google Play store. This is a total scam and there's no refunds so if yoy buy this for someone it's nearly useless and checking the balance will take you forever. It doesn't say who issues the card so how to find the balance. On Visas website there are a dozen or more care issuers. DO NOT BUY!! Amazon should not be selling this product without fair warnings. Its false advertising to say it works anywhere online. Thats a complete lie. Apps are all online. Unless your buying games its useless. No adult app where you pay a bill or anything like that will accept it. That includes banking apps like Paypal and chime. Also BNPL apps won't recognize it as payment either.
