Someone gave me a debit-style gift card. I used most of it up, and then it sat for a while with only a few dollars on it. Same with several other "use like cash" cards. So I grabbed them all, and used them to reload my Amazon Gift Card Balance and, voila, all those dollars and cents added up to savings for me right here on Amazon. Great way to use up all those dribs and drabs of gift card balances.
