  • Nice watch two day battery
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
I've had my Google pixle watch for about a week now, and I'll share my first impressions. I'm sixty-three years old and this technology is something I've been waiting for, for over fifty years. I'll come back in a month and share my experience with it then. It looks fantastic, sleek and thin. It's a beautiful expression of technology and styling. It does everything I need it to do, and it does it well. I'm running the cardio monitor to detect a-fib, so the battery life is pretty short. It's a small price to pay for a good cardiac monitor. If I have to charge it every day, it's all good. I love the screen, and the fact that I can read and respond to text messages and email by voice, very cool. The only complaint I could possibly have, is the battery life, it's very short. I probably need to turn off some of apps I have running. Other than that, I'm loving the new watch. It is very cool! EDIT : after the watch did all the updates, the battery life improved dramatically. I easily get two days of use per charge. It charges very quickly (in about an hour) and I am very pleased with my decision to purchase a Google pixle watch! ... show more

  • Comfortable and perfect match with Google Pixel phones
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
As an Android user, I recently got my hands on the Google Pixel Watch and I must say, it's a pretty impressive smartwatch. The watch is incredibly comfortable to wear and the Fitbit activity tracking and heart rate monitoring features are very accurate. However, one downside is that the battery life only lasts about a day, which means it needs to be charged daily. On the bright side, the integration with my Pixel 6 is seamless and I find it really cool to be able to pay at the counter with NFC Google Pay. Overall, if you're an Android user looking for a stylish and functional smartwatch, the Google Pixel Watch is definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Best Wear OS for true Android users, but not perfect
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
I will avoid the facts that this watch is outdated at launch by its hardware (processor). That, coupled with retail and even discounted price also are out of step with the competition. These two big gripes aside. The watch is good and likely the best choice going into 2023 for pure Android Wear OS users (not looking at Apple or Tizen overlay users.) Its not perfect and Pixel users will benefit the most when paired to this watch. Its lost most of the lag recent watches from other Wear OS brands. Has all the sensors the majority of buyers could want based on watch tech right now. It swipes, it plays well with the apps made for it. It gives you the info you ask of it. There are even a few nice 3rd part accessories now to avoid Google Gouging for proprietary bands. And there are few quirks I hope they iron out soon. Mainly, when the phone is in Bedtime Mode. Make the watch do it too, or add that Zen Mode feature to the watch also. It sucks to have animals tripping the security cameras outside dinging on my wrist and killing my sleep score. The snooze/do not disturb button on watch fails too easily and you have turn it on/off manually everytime. As many claim, the battery sucks. Sort of. I can go up to 36+ hours on a slow day, and many others can too. It will depend on too many factors to list. But basically your popularity with notifications and thinking you need the screen always on are the biggest battery hurdles. Most can get use to touch to wake. And maybe only having text, phone, front door doorbell and one email be allowed to bother your watch with notifications. Do you really need to know what cousin Billy had at Dairy Queen when he posts the same pic/vid on Facebook, Instagram, Tic Toc and YouTube, etc. Find a nice balance of wrist information along with what sensors you need checking if you are still alive. You can start the day and track everything till the next morning when you charge it again while you shower and get the next day started. It charges quickly. And most other Wear OS watches have the same daily charge requirements. Nobody on Wear OS is winning on battery. Or Turn every setting all the way up and have a spare charger puck ready for a mid day juice. If you go that route. I suggest a quick release band to ease the removal of the watch. So, its not up to the level or price of the Ultra Apple Watch. And if you don't care for Samsung. Your love for stock Android will eventually lead you back to this watch. Unless you forgo ECG sensors. The price will drop soon. Cases are minimizing the fragility of an ALL glass jelly bean design. But when comes to keeping your phone pocketed and yet still have info relayed in a useful way. Pixel Watch is the best current albeit not perfect solution for now. ... show more

  • Disappointing Experience with the Pixel Watch
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
I purchased the Pixel Watch with high expectations, especially given the positive reputation of WearOS. However, my overall experience with the device has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Firstly, the WearOS platform is undeniably impressive, offering a range of features and customizability that enhance the overall smartwatch experience. The interface is user-friendly, and the integration with Android devices is seamless. Unfortunately, the positives end there. The most glaring issue I encountered was with the battery life. Despite the promising features, the Pixel Watch consistently fell short in this department. The need for frequent charging became a significant inconvenience, especially for those who rely on their smartwatches for extended periods. Within a mere six months of use, the physical durability of the Pixel Watch became a cause for concern. The device suffered damage, raising questions about its build quality. This is particularly disappointing given the investment one makes in a premium smartwatch. The display touch issues further compounded my frustration. A smartwatch's touch screen is its primary means of interaction, and any hindrance in this area significantly diminishes its utility. The fact that these issues arose within the first few months of use only added to my disappointment. Hoping to address these issues, I took the initiative to send the watch to Google for repairs. Unfortunately, this endeavor proved to be equally disappointing. Not only did the repair process take an unexpectedly long time, but the watch was returned to me without any visible improvements. This lack of resolution was disheartening, especially considering the brand's reputation for customer service. In conclusion, while the Pixel Watch offers an appealing array of features through WearOS, its overall performance and durability left much to be desired in my experience. The subpar battery life, premature physical damage, display touch issues, and a frustrating repair process collectively contribute to a disappointing ownership experience. As a consumer, it is disheartening to invest in a premium product that fails to live up to its promises and withstand the test of time. ... show more

  • Love Google Products and Love This
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
I know this is the older version compared to what is out now but didn't have the money to get the most up to date version. So I got this one. I have had no issues with it, well except since I set it up, it keeps asking me to reset the watch for some reason. Did it once, and it keeps showing up so I just ignore the notification on the watch and hardly ever notice it. Love my watch. I hate the I have to use Fit for it. I refuse to pay for that app. But I love this watch and how it tracks all my items. I love being able to see with flip of my wrist not only the time but maybe my heart rate, etc. I use an Oura ring for my main app for tracking any exercise, sleep, etc since it is very indepth. But I do love my google watch!! Defintely don't regret getting the older version! ... show more

  • Not Impressed
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
Honestly, I'm not impressed with this watch. I looked at multiple reviews here and throughout the internet and many people had said this watch was one of the best. First, the battery life. Just last night I took the watch off the charger at 100%. When I woke up, (7 hours) it was already at 77%. I put the watch on "Bed Time" mode and it still went down this much. Second, the button options. There are way too many ways to get to the same place on the watch. The stem of the watch is useless because the button above it essentially does the same thing. The stem is nice for scrolling and volume control, but your finger can do the same thing. Third, the apps. There are a ton of apps available (which is a pro and a con). A lot of the apps say "open on watch" which defeats the purpose of it being an app on the watch to begin with. Fourth, the Fitbit app and the Google app. Not sure why we need 2 apps for one. I got this watch because it was paired with Fitbit, but still had to download a whole other app--that has the same things as Fitbit. Fifth, the charger. The charger is not a USB, it is a C type charger. You now have to buy a sperate adapter in order to charge your watch, if you don't already have a C type charger handy... I would have honestly rather bought another Fitbit. ... show more

  • Best wrist band I have seen so far
Color: Polished Silver case w/ Charcoal Active ... Style: WiFi
REVIEW IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO THOSE WHO HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL !!!! I had galaxy 6 that I liked but it was uncomfortable to wear for too long, so i would take it off often which resulted in the watch getting lost, as a replacement i got galaxy classic 4 which was very heavy and looked small on my wrist. I love this one, its very light, looks great, even though its a small diameter. I can wear it for 10h+ and the wrist feels fine. The battery lasts for 36 hours. I find that the activity tracker over estimates the amount of calories burned, which is a software issue (dont have hard metrics, just a gut feeling) I originally passed on this one as it was ~350-400$ (when I was buying galaxy 6). Ended up buying for $200 for black friday. (you will need a case and a glass cover or it will get scratched since there are no edges to protect it, so expect another $30 of expenses there) ... show more
