  • Good entry watch
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
I really like the pixel watch. I was debating getting just a little Fitbit, but even though Google bought out Fitbit, it doesn't have Google Assistant. Assistant is a must for me, so I plunked down some money on this instead. I'm only an average health aficionado, so I only use Google Fit. I can't relay my experience on the Fitbit app. I tried it for one day, but I really don't like the UI. Plus, they make you put in a card for their monthly subscription. You can cancel that in the Google playstore immediately after, but a paywall is a huge turnoff for me. In my opinion, Google Fit has the better UI, and I can track all of my stuff without putting in a credit card. The battery is better than I thought! It lasts me the whole day if I don't turn on tilt to wake. On a particularly bad day, I can get it down to 59% by 8 p.m. I already charge my phone overnight, so what's another device in the wall? Huge PSA: The glass is really nice to look at but I recommend getting a little screen protector for it. The scratches are just on the screen protector alone! ... show more

  • Works great.
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
Needed a simple watch for work. This is an extremely cheap watch compared to what the most updated watches cost. The battery dues run low so you are looking at approximately 70% battery life at the end of the day, but this is to be expected as this is the first generation of this product. If you want a cheap watch that still does most of what other digital watches do and done mind charging it nightly then this is a good choice. ... show more

  • Love this watch!
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
I'm absolutely %1000 in love with this watch and couldn't be happier with the purchase I made. I've never really been one to wear a watch but bought a cheapo smart watch a few months ago just to see if I would wear one before making a big purchase for a good one. So after getting the new Pixel 7 phone I decided to buy the pixel watch and very happy I did. Of course I've only had it for a couple weeks but so far no problems with it. The only thing I thought was going to be a problem when I first got it was the battery life the first one or two times I charged it the battery charge ran out very fast but now I get a good 24+ hours of charge out of it. There's so much that this watch can do that it would take too long to talk about it all plus I love the fact that with the Google play store you can download more apps for it. I've only had this watch for a short time so if any problems come up I will come on and write a different review but for now I would highly recommend this watch! ... show more

  • If this will be your first smartwatch, I recommend.
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
DISCLAIMER: This is my first smartwatch. As stated above, this is my first smartwatch. I put many hours over multiple days researching this watch. I recently bought a Pixel 7 Pro and have been interested in buying a smartwatch for a couple of years, and after watching a bunch of videos and reading a bunch of articles, I decided to bite the bullet and take the plunge. So first of all, I have the "Hey Google" assistant option off in the settings, a few videos recommended this to improve battery life. My battery life has been much better than expected based on most reviews, thus far. Secondly; charging times were another topic in most reviews that was talked about in the most negative of ways. Charging so far has been speedy. Third; being able to reply to messages through the watch has been a lot easier than I anticipated based on the information that led to my purchase. Somethings to be weary of: 1- No retailer in a medium sized city carries any kind of accessory for the Pixel Watch, every screen protector/case/charging stand/band etc. will have to be bought online. 2- Detailed fitness and health stats will be locked behind a paywall after you exhaust your complimentary 6 month trial of Fitbit premium. I also cannot contest to the accuracy of any of the data. 3- Setup was an absolute pain in the you know what. It took patience and endurance. At one point my phone said it was connected and good to go, meanwhile the watch was factory resetting. Not a great first impression. Overall I really like the watch so far, if I had came from a Galaxy watch or Apple Watch I think I might feel differently but for a first smartwatch and just dipping my toes into this realm it's very solid and has exceeded my expectations in many areas. ... show more

  • Good product :)
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
Not gonna lie, after reading some of these reviews, I was really nervous about the battery life of this watch. Turns out, it really not that bad. I'm a high school student who wakes up at 3:45 to go to the gym before school, and it still lasts me all day. I wear it to the gym, school, work, everywhere. I love how easy it is to connect to my Google Pixel and I love that it can keep track of my workouts and calendar. I keep mine in battery save mode because I do the same thing with my phone, and I feel like I could sleep with it, but I'd be out of battery halfway through the night. If you're not wanting/don't care about the sleep tracking, then it's perfect. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Worked for about 6 months
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
I would give it a 2 or 3 start but no one really reads those. I got this because it linked to the Fitbit which was my preferred app to use. It seemed to work great for a while and I liked that I could change the band and cover for a different style. Then out of the blue it started to disconnect from my phone and stopped reading metrics. It was a constant issue in trying to get it to stay connected and work consistently. The worst part about it was that I had to charge it at night because the battery wouldn't last more than 16hours which completely blew that whole idea of tracking sleep patterns. By about 6 months it wouldn't even last 12 hours. ... show more

  • Absolutely the best Wear OS experience!
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
I've had 10 smart watches over the years, and I always wanted a Fossil smart watch. To date I've owned four Fossil smart watches and the most recent being a Gen 6. That's an absolutely great watch, great looks, great battery life (for my use) and still looks like a "normal watch". That being said, I always felt the Wear OS experience was a bit lacking. The animations were not smooth, the watch response was sluggish and generally was just "okay"...but I told myself that this is as good as it gets. Then Google released the Pixel Watch and I started getting curious how good would a watch be that was released by the "maker" of the OS. I've had several Pixel phones and absolutely loved them. I wasn't pleased with the $350 price tag, but eventually I convinced myself to try the Pixel Watch. I am very glad that I did! The experience is so much better that the Fossil watch. The animations, operation, and overall experience is much better than I expected it could be. I totally expected that the battery life would be bad based on the other reviews, but honestly for me it's better than my Fossil Gen 6. My wife, who is not a technology person, has also had 10 smart watches and this is her favorite by far. Another big plus is the Pixel Watch has Google Assistant built in (so far other Wear OS 3 watches do not) The only downside for me is Google Fit is "gone" and now it's Fitbit. ... show more

  • Not for me
Color: Matte Black case w/ Obsidian Active band... Style: WiFi
Returning Google pixel Watch: Let's start with why I wanted to buy this watch. I'm a big fan of Google and the Google pixel phone series and a big fan of the Fitbit. So this combination of a Google pixel watch that works with Fitbit sounded like a dream come true! My Fitbit charge 6 was dying, as we know all these do eventually, so I figured this was an opportune time to give the Google pixel Fitbit watch a chance. Now for the reasons why I have returned it!: ** Battery life, I have to charge it at least twice a day, I was feeling like a slave to the charger. **It's cumbersome to see what my hourly activity steps were at. Too many taps to get to see where I was in my hourly steps. And I was missing the notifications, which meant I went through several days of not getting all my steps in every hour. Due to a foot injury, I rely heavily on those notifications to make sure I get up and walk at least 500 steps an hour. This feature was not working for me. ** It's too big on my wrist. ** It doesn't accurately track steps. Often I would find that I would look up my step count, then a few minutes later checking it again and see that the count was lower. ** Trying to scroll through to find a setting, or an app is annoying. ** I couldn't get the hang of setting up the notifications so I would hear them on my phone and not through the watch. Meaning my phone would ring, and my watch is ringing a different ring at the same time. If I muted my watch it also muted my phone. This wasn't working for me. ** The same with text messages, I muted them on my watch but then I wasn't getting the notifications on my phone either. The only way I knew I was getting any messages was by looking at my phone. So it seemed the whole purpose of combining Google pixel phone notifications into a watch just wasn't working for me. I was shutting off the Google pixel apps so I could just have a regular Fitbit watch again. Which made me think why do I have this watch? ** Do not disturb on my phone doesn't transfer to watch, have to do it in two places. That is a pain I'm going back to just a regular Fitbit, that's cheaper and simpler to use. My life is not that complicated that I need a phone and a watch to keep me up to date. ... show more
