When I bought these, there was a notice on the page that said these are frequently returned items and, on first glance, I can see why. They arrive very tightly balled up and looked unimpressive. But the color was exactly what I wanted so I opened them up and went to work. It's turns out they are nested together and I'm sure that actually protects them in shipping. But each stem is bendable and all it takes is a bit of fluffing and attaching the stem and they look great! Another reviewer said they dipped them in hot water and I may try that or lightly misting them to get s few folds out of the petals. But hydrangeas are kind of "messy" looking anyway so I might not worry about it. they work perfectly for what I wanted and I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. I haven't decided if I want some greenery or another color to go with them but I would not hesitate to buy these again. ... show more
