The phone, overall, tends to go off on its own too much. Sometimes an ad comes on uninvited or I touch the screen wrong and things change. Sometimes, if my finger isn't the right temperature or something, I can't get the phone to do anything. It's okay but not great.

Phone was sent without being properly reprogramed and came stuck in "work organization" mode. Seller's customer service wanted the phone sent back to be reprogrammed again and requiring even more time without the phone that was expected to be ready to go, out of the box. Picture quality was great. Phone was great until it won't let you make a selection. Phone lasted for 7 months. I returned it last week for a refund.

    • Well, that didn't work--bad IMEI--And now it does
Update below--- The phone itself arrived in excellent condition, and on time. However, during set up with my carrier it turned out the phone is either not unlocked, or registered as stolen. The IMEI is unavailable. Therefor the phone is nothing more that a $200 paper weight. Also, it was listed with a fast charge car adapter, but what was received was a regular charge (2.1A) block and an aftermarker USBA to C short cable. I will update on how the issue resolution goes. Update: Okay, tech support took 3 days to get back to me with thier 24 hour response promise. However, in the mean time I did research. Then phone was not locked, nor was it blacklisted. However, the Pixel 6a specifically has issues with many virtual carriers (Fi, Visible, T-Mobile) eSIMs. No matter what I or tech support at Visible tried, I could not download an eSIM. Researching the issue for 2 days, I found the eSIM issue and insisted that Visible send me a pSIM (physical SIM). As soon as the pSIM was inserted the phone worked perfectly. SO, I do like Pixel phones for their pure Android experience and this phone is no exception. This renewed version is a good deal at the time I purchased it ($198 in early 2024) Just beware that if you are using an eSim, you may need to obtain a pSIM from your carrier. ... show more

Phone is very fast, smooth and gets the job done. The problem is an aggravating one. The fingerprint sensor just does not work , or I should say , it's only worked once in the time I've had the phone. Don't know why.
