I was pleasantly surprised that this product works like magic. I've had this product for about a week now and I have used it to defrost chicken and steaks. Both defrosted in less than half the normal time. I wasn't actually timing it, but in less than an hour the meat was defrosted. Great product! I selected this one due to the size. The Cutting Board works, and I guess the knife sharpener on the edge of The Cutting Board is good for people who need to sharpen their knives that way. The defroster thing is okay I guess, but I don't think it beats the waterproof Ziploc bag soak method for me. But if that wasn't an option to soak method, then I guess I would prefer to have this over nothing. Certainly if that was the only method I had, I think it would be great. But it's just too slow for me, often times because the amount that I need defrosted, and I do just think it's not quite as fast ... show more
