My Google Nest Learning thermostat worked fine for a few months, functioning well, until an error message was displayed indicating loss of wi-fi. Multiple attempts at restarting router, upgrading router, etc. did not solve it. Google support was difficult to locate. Try googlenest-support@google.com. The thermostat was within warranty, so I was sent a replacement (with credit card pre-charge) BUT THAT MALFUNCTIONS ALSO! Waiting to hear a reply. UPDATE: the SECOND replacement under warranty has also been DOA. The solution from Google after much time and expense trouble shooting and with tech chat is frankly not consumer friendly. Our A/C company reports also poor experience and trade-outs. In our area, the electric power companies are offering these for supposed energy savings. Based in the failure now of 3 (2 being Dead On Arrival), we do NOT recommend. Pay attention to Amazon’s 8% 1-star ratings! ... show more

    • Daily high temperature is not included in the algorithm.
We use in floor heating during the winter. In a heating mode nest will start your thermostat up to five hours before the set time to reach the set temperature. The problem is it should also consider the daily high temperature. We find the thermostat overshooting the temperature on warmer days.

We ha e no issues with it , my husband loved his first on we bought a second for down stairs . Helps us save SO MUCH MONEY !
