The lamp is purrrfect. I am using it for a 12vdc outside salon light for my cruising catamaran sailboat. It hangs from the roof over the aft table. Broke the original during a storm and the $150 replacement from the factory that would arrive who knows when seemed a bit much. My wife commented that she wished that the light also came out the bottom of the lantern so I removed the aluminum disc under the glass and voila. I’m wonderful in her eyes but the thanks goes to the design. I am just using the lamp and tossed the stake/support. Cheers ... show more

These lights do look great but are horrible. Bought the 8 pack…out of the box they didn’t work right. Thinking it was a wiring issue I put out new low voltage wire to a new transformer. One light heated up the wire to smoking, that one was bad, and 4 others just didn’t work at all…3 worked but for how long? Lotta money for an 8 pack to have only 3 work. ... show more

i've purchased these before when they were being sold by malibu. They are classy and not cheap looking. one problem though, the riser pulls apart from the spike. this shouldn't be. but aside from that, they are a class act..

Their customer support was easy to access and prompt with a solution. The review is for the lanterns on shepherd hooks in the foreground of the picture. I bought 24 of these beautiful outdoor lights. Installed them myself. Had four extra for replacement or other usage. 3 of the 24 LED lights burned out with in 30 days. I tore down the lamp, the back of the LED had rust on the circuits and boards. There is no replacement LED light offered from Goodsman. I will need to find G4 and LED bulbs to replace the Goodsman Bulb on my own. If you purchase these lights, I would not expect the LED light to last very long. Unless you can find and replace the light on your own, you just purchased a worthless light. ... show more

The lights are the most beautiful landscape lights! However, two lights stopped working as soon as it rained a week later. They are not waterproof! I was so sad, I did not want to return them and take the chance of it happening again. So, here is my quick fix: I cut out the old light (you can see in the pic how corroded they are). I bought a pack of G4 bulbs and connector wires. Both less than $10 each on Amazon. Just wire it to the old wire and you're done! Oh, and I put waterproof silicone on the top of the lamp to keep any water from making its way in. ... show more
