It never stings when applied like some other exfoliating serums. it has a nice, light texture that is like a slightly thicker essence with a good amount of slip. This is such an easy overnight exfoliating serum at a great price point. If you don't over-do it, only use it 2-3 times a week, don't use other acids, and moisturize/sunscreen well, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful skin turnover very quickly. This is one where you'll probably see a difference the first time, and want to do it again RIGHT AWAY. DON'T. Be patient, only 2-3 times a week, and you'll have much better results. It's quite effective. It's also not highly irritating for how effective it is, but again, be judicious with your application. I have sensitized, hormonal skin at the moment, and it's still gentle enough to work on me and aid cell turnover as long as I don't over do it. Ingredients have benefits and chemical exfoliation is effective, just be sure to use sunscreen while using this product bc your skin will be more sun sensitive.
