I mistakenly took my front undercarriage shield off when attempting to make a repair that was above my skill set. In my haste to get it repaired, I had to get it towed to the dealership right down the street. By taking off the shield, it resulted in the center one being less than aerodynamic. During the test drive, the shield broke loose. I told them to take it off without thinking about it. I ended up with an unprotected bottom! I had to but another shield (essentially fiberboard) for more than $200. The screw retainers disappeared with the old shield. I tried to use other set with varying results. I needed an OE quality set instead. I got these and they are great! The retainers slipped right into place and I was able to get the new shield back into place. Did just what I needed, attached a plastic air dam to my truck bumper. 10 mm head worked great. The clips weren’t tight but not a problem for me. I could probably have squeezed them tighter but didn’t need to in my case.

Difficult to give a fair star rating, as these could probably be used for a # of things...but they didn't work for my purpose as they were too short. These were recommended as an add-on for a splash-guard/fiberglass skid plate for a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, and while they will thread, they were too short to use. As you can see in the picture, they aren't as long as the originals, and it was enough to make them unusable. They may possibly work for your purpose, but it was a bad recommendation for me, just speaking only for myself. ... show more
