I think this is our third heating pad for our elderly dog. The other two brands had a removeable washable cover. Dog really liked the cover BUT the heating pad itself would lump up inside. This unit has three outstanding features: it stays flat, the heating is accurate and the controller is top notch. Specifically I can set it over 12 hours (23 or 24 hours), it has a large clear display that is easy to set and it is a good length. Wish it had been the first we ordered.

UPDATE UPDATE CORRECTION I made this post early today since then I figured things out it was NOT the item in default. It was not setting it correctly. The little instruction book is very confusing not clear on things. I did get this to work properly and YES WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. So please do not allow the negative things below stop you from a purchase. In fact I'm ordering the 2nd one. does heat but there is NO difference in setting it on 80 degree and up to 130 degree. It stays the same just barley little warm. Left it on for 5 hours and it did not change. I moved the thermostat up and down multiple times to see if maybe it was just stuck. Nope no more than a barley warm feel. It states Smart Thermostat. LOL not this one pretty dumb thermostat.

My 10+ year old dog has severe arthritis. My vet recommended a heated pad. My dog has slept on it for two nights and he doesn’t want to get up in the mornings! It’s obvious he is very comfortable on the pad! I love that the temperature can be adjusted. The quality is great and the cord is a good length!

This dog heating pad is a great addition to keep your furry friends cozy. The washable material is a huge plus for maintaining cleanliness. The temperature change feature is convenient, though a lower temperature option would be beneficial as we used our for a nursing mother and puppies and as the puppies age the temperatures needed changes. We had to cover the pad with a blanket or towel because if it ran all night it got hotter over time. The timer and thick cable are added bonuses. Overall, it's a solid choice for keeping your dog and or puppies warm and comfortable. It is very durable and functional.

Well, I had high hopes for this heating pad. I have an elderly large dog with arthritis and other joint issues and I ordered this specifically to give him warmth when laying on his bed for the cold winter months. The size is perfect for a big dog, and the paw pattern on the material is a nice touch. That’s the only thing I could possibly say good about this item. As I mentioned, I had high hopes for this. I couldn’t wait to get it in to provide extra comfort for my sweet fur baby. The highest heat setting displays as 130- nope, no way does it even get near that temperature. I had it on and after 15 minutes it wasn’t even lukewarm. I thought maybe it needed some extra time to heat up for the first usage. After 45 minutes, a very minuscule feel of warmth- but barely. It just doesn’t heat up. So disappointed . After this debacle I have decided to just purchase an electric throw blanket for my precious fur baby. Sending this back immediately. Not worth $5 never mind $47. It’s a very pretty piece of junk.

My fourteen year old Akita dog is failing in health and abilities. We purchased this heating pad to give her warmth in the evening and put her blanket over it on her bed. The entire pad heats up ( no empty spots) and you can choose heat levels and time. It has proved to be quite effective and easy to use. It helps me sleep better knowing that she is comfortable. I also have a doggie sweatshirt that I keep on her bony body for warmth. Highly recommended.

I got this for my big baby Teddy Bear. It's very cold now and the heat keeps his whole body warm. He sleeps on my bed so I have this on my bed, It's anywhere between 67-71 in my room with no heater at night and this actually keeps us both warm. It has temp settings and timer and seems higher quality. Not dogs with a chew addiction could rip this up good. I love this case it keeps my legs and feet warm hahahaha
