This is a super umbrella. It’s extremely sturdy. One of the things I usually dislike about extra-strong umbrellas is that they’re usually very difficult for me to close. This one opens and closes with ease. The large 48” diameter is big enough for two people to fit underneath. The ribs are strong and I believe they will hold up well in wind and rain. Love the sturdiness of this umbrella. Anymore, everything is made so cheap. This umbrella actually seems very study. It has a wrap around button, so when it not in use it can be contained. Also has a sleeve the entire device can go into if you want to use that. Will definitely keep near the back door for those days when it is raining!!! ... show more

The umbrella is large, just as I wanted it. It's rained today in my area up north. I tried it. It was good. I will be back to report how it holds up under a heavy windy rain. Overall, it's a good price.
