This a nice quality mate made of the same material that you use for gun mats (neoprene). It comes rolled up in a nylon sleeve( wasn't expecting that). I unrolled it then rolled it back up in the opposite direction and that seemed to help a little with keeping it flat. The set up for woods, irons, and hybrids makes it easy to see where you should be, it helped me ( and I've been playing for 50 years) I will be checking my set up in the yard and will take it to the range to reinforce any learnind ... show more

That’s what this mat is helping you with. Pretty darn good. What bothers me a bit is that the mat does not want to flatten out. It came rolled up and seems to like that form. When i ordered the mat it was a whopping $30, the price dropped to $17 by now and gets down a tiny bit more with the 5% coupon ending at $16.15 which is about a dollar less than the competition. ... show more

For the past two years I've been told out on the golf course that my stance is too wide. I got this Golf Training Mat for Beginners and I think they all might be right. Brought this to the driving range and I was hitting the ball much better with the stance that is provided on the mat. It took time to get used to but I think all my golf buddies were on to something but I didn't feel stable unless I had a wider stance. If you're set up incorrectly, you're not going to strike the ball well. This is a simple aid to help you position the ball and with repetition, it will become habit. It comes rolled up in a bag, which is nice but it doesn't flatten immediately. It's also only for right handed golfers. I have a lefty in the family. They could have easily made this to work for both left and right handed golfers. It's also not going to address the many other elements of a golf swing. But I like it. ... show more
