Man, changing golf cleats used to be a whole event for me, like breaking out all kinds of tools just to twist those little suckers off. I grabbed this tool and figured I’d give it a shot, and it’s been solid. The cleat ripper part works decent – got my old spikes out without too much cussing. It’s got enough grip so I wasn’t losing control, which is key when you’re messing with tiny parts. What’s nice is how the bits store in the handle. I’m always losing little pieces, so having everything tucked inside is a win. Plus, it doesn’t take up space in my golf bag. Just throw it in the side pocket and I’m good. Used it a few times already on plastic and metal spikes, and it handled both alright. Now, it’s not the sturdiest thing in the world, don’t get me wrong. If you’re swapping cleats every week, you might want something beefier. But for a casual round and quick fixes, this gets the job done. The plastic could be thicker, but for the price, I can’t complain too loud. Keeps me from slipping on the course and lets me switch out spikes without paying someone else to do it. I’d rock with it again if it holds up a bit longer.
