This worked great for my black wrought iron fencing. It keeps the bunnies out of my yard and garden and it blended in perfectly. Very easy to see through and made the old fence look much better as well. It was easy to install. I just used zip ties to attach and I cut it with tin snips.

I ordered this product because I needed it by the day they said it would be delivered, 6-9-25, & I could not get 48" x 100' @ any big box/farm store. I got a notice that the shipment was delayed with no date to ship. 😔 Mind you I have 12 chicks in a 3' swimming pool that I need to get out into bigger quarters. Then it just shows up 3 days later on 6-9. This roll came in an undamaged box(thank goodness). I didn't need any damaged ends to affect measurements. It seems to be good quality but I doubt that it is a true 19 gage wire. Evenly coated black, rolls out easily, easy to cut & bend, true to size, & easy to handle. This was for a hoop coop(coup made from cattle panels bent over into a 1/2 circle). The cloth goes over the hoop to provide extra predator protection & is then covered with a tarp for the sun/weather. Since it has just been built I cannot review how durable it will be. I would say that if you have big predators like coons/coyotes that can chew threw wire I would not recommend it because it is light weight. I've had them chew thru chicken wire so went to the hardware cloth. The cloth you get @ big box stores is much more heavy duty(harder to work with) but probably true 19 gage wire that I could not get anywhere in that heavy weight & length & price point(was covering a 12' length). So...I hope since it is layered b/t the hoop & tarp it will hold up to the task. I reinforced it where a predator could try to get in(doors & corners). It looks great, you can't see it like the plain galvanized wire. If I were not needing it immediately I would shop around for 12 gage 1/2" x 1 1/2" fencing for the long haul. I couldn't find any that did not take 10-12 wks to get. This 12 gage fencing is what you can make animal cages with, very stiff. I feel it would last alot longer in the long run but you have to take what you can get @ the time you can get it. That being said I would recommend it if you want to be able to hide the wire because it is not noticeable(garden projects etc.) easy to cut/work with, & price point in line with other manufactures. If you want to use hog ring clips (this makes it so much easier & faster to attach)this is too small @ 1/2" squares to use them because you cannot get the jaws inside to clip. Maybe @ a corner but not on a flat surface seam to seam. There could be other attachers out there but this was what was recommended to me. You always learn alot the first time around when you build so I wish you luck with your build. 😊

We purchased one roll of this black hardware cloth and I couldn’t be happier with it. Just one roll was able to cover two chicken coops (see attached pictures for size reference), which makes the value of this product desirable. The color is very black and looks as if there isn’t even wire when you put it up, it’s almost invisible. It is made out of very nice and heavy metal and the thickness is just what we needed. We have only been using it for about a month and it has held up so well. The paint hasn’t chipped or rusted. It was very easy to cut to size. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a durable product that can be used for so many things.

This is great wire, we use this on our chicken coop builds, I definitely recommend using the black coated wire as it makes for optimal visibility. It completely removes the glare from using the standard galvanized metal hardware cloth.

The media could not be loaded. I used this for my catio. It worked well for the job. I wouldn’t use it for anything that needed to be stronger and very heavy duty. It bends very easily. But it has been up for over a month now and there is nothing getting in or out of there. I almost hate to take away one star because of its strength saying that it is cheaper and maybe not suppose to be super strong My cats even climb on it and it doesn’t budge. So I’m glad I went with this and not something more expensive because it was unnecessary. My porch is raised so for anything to get into it from outside, it would have to climb up the stairs and then hang onto the fencing and get through it so that that’s not happening. And I have a lot of raccoon and possum visitors around here. Be very careful when you unroll it because it is wound up very tight so once you cut the wire ties, it unrolls at the speed of light and the ends are sharp and we will cut you. Just FYI. But that’s on the user not the product. It also comes with thin gloves, which are very helpful since it’s so sharp when you cut it. I used wire cutters. It was very easy. You definitely wanna pull it taut with something besides just your hands. You just can’t get it tight enough, pulling it alone. But that also hasn’t really mattered for its strength in my catio. All I cared about was that my 3 cats can’t get out and nothing else can get in. Waaaaaay cheaper than the box store. Love that it is coated. I had enough extra that I did both sides of the bottom for reassurance.
