Just arrived today and one look at the pants told the entire story. Not even 12 inches wide in the hips - checking the sizing chart would be very beneficial to the workers who make these garments. 🙂 This is my third Gold Fin complete suit and aside from this obvious sizing error on these pants, the fit is accurate (jacket and pants should be very tight to allow body to heat the small amount of water between the body and neoprene jacket/pants). The rubber cuffs, neck, ankles, and waist are great but the waist does roll up once in the water. Jacket ends at waist so cannot tuck it into the bottoms. The elastic waist in the pants are great and roll down easily. I have worn the wet suit in 36 degree weather when right out of the indoor pool and heading to my car and was much warmer than the heavy sweat pants formerly used. Sets are stylish and colors are cheerful. The suits really do the job - I am warm and comfy in the indoor pool water while others are shaking from the water which feels cold. Makes the workout really enjoyable now. I love the Gold Fin products but c'mon - 12 inches wide for the hips - Nah! Will return for replacement bc these sets keep me warm and are priced right. Had to go 5 stars bc the other Gold Fin suits are terrific.

I ordered it yesterday, and got it today! I tried it on right away since I am going on a dive trip in 2 weeks. It fits perfectly. I have several other much more expensive wetsuits ranging from 2 to 5 mil. All three were very pricey, and great quality suit. I am going to Bonaire to shore dive, and the walk from the parking lots to the water can be very rocky and steep. I really wanted something for protection, not as much as warmth. I really do not want to fall on sharp rock and coral debris and tear open a $400 suit, so I figured I would get a thin cheaper suit to sacrifice. I got the top as well as the pants. Both fit really well, and true to normal clothing size. I usually have to size up in expensive brands, but I bought my normal clothing size for this. It fit right out of the box. I bought a large. I an 5'10" and about 180 and usually wear a 12 or large in most clothing (sometimes a medium but a have a little larger bust). The pants are just above my ankle, but I am tall so rarely are things long enough, but I wear dive socks under my booties, so not worried about any skin potentially showing. The waist, ankles, bottom of the jacket, sleeves and neck are snug (not tight) and have more of a grippy surface. The jacket zips easily and comfortably around my 38Ds. I will see how it performs in the water, but I am not worried at all. I will likely buy a couple more of these. The quality for the price is quite nice. I was really surprised!

I purchased the set (top & bottom separates both size Medium). I love it and can’t wait to use it! I am 5’4” & 140 lbs. I usually wear a women’s size 8-10. Good thickness & comfortable. It fits great and doesn’t ride up or down. it has rubber grippers at every opening. The zipper is smooth and does not stick. Has pretty deep pockets on both sides. so far so good! thanks.

I got these for kayaking. I have a German Shepherd who goes kayaking with me sometimes. Having a large wet dog on you for any length of time is unpleasant, especially when it’s cold and windy. His nails would also hurt my legs. These pants help with both problems. I also used these for wading around in a cold mountain creek last weekend. These are great! Normally the water is so cold that it becomes unbearable after about a minute. This time I waded around for hours on a cold rainy day without getting uncomfortable (I also got neoprene socks). These pants did not chafe and the elastic that goes over the foot was not uncomfortable either (I am prone to tendinitis in my foot and thought it would bother me). They are warm enough that if you aren’t in water you may get too hot if it’s over 40-50 degrees. I did find I would get cold if I was wet or sweaty and then sat around, but I still love these pants. I highly recommended them if you need to stay warm during water activities. Also, they fit well and I found the sizing to be accurate. They were tight enough to provide warmth without being uncomfortable or constricting my movement. I will probably get another pair soon.
