  • Sleek, Versatile, and Dependible: A Watch That Stands the Test of Time
Color: resin/black
In the market for a new watch, after my trusty Timex gave out, I was skeptical about replacing it with the GOLDEN HOUR Ultra-Thin Minimalist Sports Waterproof Digital Watch. My initial hesitation was due to the rubber strap, as I had a preference for fabric. However, its sleek design and affordability persuaded me to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did. The first thing that struck me about this watch is its ultra-thin profile. At just 8mm thick, it’s so lightweight and comfortable that I often forget I’m wearing it, yet its build quality feels sturdy and reliable. The adjustable soft rubber strap, while not my initial choice, has proven to be both comfortable and durable, accommodating my wrist size perfectly. Aesthetically, this watch is a hit. Its minimalist design exudes a sophisticated charm that pairs well with almost any outfit, from casual to formal. Its resin case with an acrylic lens enhances visibility without being obtrusive, making it a subtle yet stylish accessory. Functionality-wise, the watch impresses with its digital features. The backlight screen ensures the time is clearly visible in any lighting condition, and the inclusion of a stopwatch, alarm, and calendar functions adds to its utility, making it not just a timepiece but a practical tool for everyday use. Its 5ATM water-resistant rating means it’s suitable for swimming in shallow water and handling cold showers, though it’s wise to avoid hot water and steam. This feature has been sufficient for my needs, providing peace of mind during water-related activities without being overly cautious. The GOLDEN HOUR Ultra-Thin Minimalist Sports Waterproof Digital Watch has surpassed my expectations. It’s not just a replacement for my old watch; it’s an upgrade in many ways. Its blend of style, comfort, functionality, and reliability, all at a reasonable price, makes it a standout choice. For those in need of a non-smart digital watch that’s both beautiful and dependable, I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Just right
Color: metal/bright/black
This is a very nice watch. I wanted a sport watch that only told me the time and gave me a stopwatch, and this is one of the few that does. Time, stopwatch, and alarm. Two or three taps on the buttons and I get just what I want, no multiple taps that seem to go round in a circle. Good price, attractive, easy to read (from side to side watch face about 1 1/2 inches). I've been used to straps that when you lay the watch down, the straps curl. This strap, when the watch is laid down, is flat. No pro or con opinion from me, just different from the watches I've used for many years. Prompt delivery, and in a nice flat box in case you wanted to present it to someone. ... show more

  • Pretty good basic watch to replace a basic Casio, but not perfect.
Color: resin/black
As of this review, I have owned the watch for just a little over a month. I bought the black resin version, not metal. Once I wear a watch, I do not take it off. So over the past month, I have worn this watch 24/7, while I sleep and in all activities of daily life. Lets just jump straight into the pros and cons. Pros: thin, light, easy to read, looks pretty good, so far no scratches, no water or moisture issues in hot and cold showers, has the date/time/day of the week all on one screen, and very affordable. Cons: straps are on the harder plaster feel rather than soft silicon rubber, loses about 4-5 seconds each week. Cycling through the modes get you to the time setup rather than having to press two buttons at the same time or holding a button for a few seconds to set the time. This is a con for me because it's very easy to accidentally cycle to the time setup mode and potentially adjust your time by accident. I've ended up on the time setup mode quite a few times and that may be a contributing factor to losing 4-5 seconds a week. I bought this watch to replace my $14 Casio just to change it up a bit without having to pay a lot of money and being afraid of damaging it because of my active life style. My Casio has been super reliable and has gone through two strap replacement already just to illustrate that I beat my watch up on the daily. Overall, for a sub $20 watch, the Golden Hour watch is pretty good. Again, my biggest issues with it is the loss of time and mode button. ... show more

  • Awesome watch
Color: resin/gray
Looks great, very durable, simple and minimalistic. I wear it all the time even to the gym and in the pool. Very comfortable band and the screen is very easy to read in all settings. I’m ordering more.

  • Great, inexpensive basic watch.
Color: metal/bright/black
Tried the acrylic versions of this watch (more colors), but the face scratched so easily. Granted, I'm hard on watches, but I destroyed the face in a couple weeks. This watch has durable glass face and the bezel is metal. Super comfortable as well. I'm female, and the band is close to being too large (I use the tightest hole). I use the stop watch a fair but as well, but do wish it had a timer. Then again, can't complain too much since it was $20. For the non-smart watch crowd, this is the best I've tried. ... show more

  • It's a great watch if you're careful with it
Color: metal/bright/black
To preface I am very hard on my watches I usually don't take them off ever even when showering. I never had any problems with it and I actually really liked the layout the feel and the readability. This is a very good basic watch which is what I wanted after getting a more fancy multifunctional one. Now for the bad news, while doing tree work and climbing up a tree it must have broke the pin that keeps the strap on because I found it lying at the beast of the tree perfectly fine otherwise mind you but still kind of unusable as a watch now. I never had any other problems with it so I'm sure if you don't usually put yourself in situations where it's scraping or rubbing on something it'll probably be just fine but for me it's not really acceptable but yeah that's up to you. (Oh and I had it for like a month or so) ... show more

  • Great for price
Color: resin/blue
Thin, light weight, nice color and comfortable to wear. I have been unable to use my smart watch to take heartrates at work, and am happy to have seconds counting on all the time
