My father, who is 80 years old, was beginning to have problems getting out of his old Lazy-Boy. The chair sat low and he'd struggle to stand up when getting out of it. So my brother and i decided to get him a lift chair for his birthday. We searched online and searched thru Amazon, looking for a lift chair with the most features at the best value. We came upon this one and decided to order it for him. Upon arrival, it was easy to set up (from box opening to him sitting in the chair took around 30 minutes). AFter a few days of using it, he absolutely loves the chair and the features, especially the heated massage feature!! Right now, he doesn't actually have to use the lift feature to get out tof the chair because it actually sits up pretty high and he can comfortably and safely get out of the chair on his own accord. But it's comforting to know that when the day comes and he can no longer get out of the chair on his own, he will have that lift feature to assist him to safely get out of the chair and stand up safely. The chair is priced at $849 and well worth it!! Do yourself a favor and buy the 5-year Indoor Furniture Accident Protection Plan warranty for $149.99 (peace of mind) because from what I have read online with most lift chairs, the motors tend to give you problems a few years down the road. My dad has only had this chair for about 3 months so will update whenever (or if) he has any problems with the chair.

My wife bought this chair for me. I have part of my spine fused and the lift has helped me a lot. From the day I got this chair and set it up, it has been great. A short time ago, a weld broke in the lift mechanism. That, later, caused another part to come undone. That was when I found the broken weld. I contacted the vendor, Golden Beach, that evening, Apr 14th. I got a response the next morning from Alice. She asked for a picture of the broken part. I sent pictures showing the damaged part and the next day she replied that they are shipping the entire seat section to replace. 2 Days!!! I had asked for a replacement for the part that broke along with a bushing that had worn out and they sent the whole seat part. She also recommended keeping some key parts from the old seat. Alice sent the tracking inf on the 3rd day and that it's ETA was Friday. It arrived on time, and My grandson helped me with reassembly today. It's like a brand new chair. And I love it all over again. Great chair and, no lie, the best Customer Service experience I have ever had!

I was a bit sceptical to purchase this chair but extremely glad I did. I had an issue with my delivery when I was away, the seller communicated extremely well until the issue was resolved. I gave three stars because the back of chair doesn't go fully upright, I had to purchase a large cushion to support my back when sitting. I wish it had USB ports for charging my devices. Other than that, no other complaints.

Four years ago I bought a lift chair from Amazon and paid half of what this one costs. I will say it still works but is lopsided and noisy, awful really. This chair is SO MUCH BETTER. I can barely hear the motor! Not kidding. Plus it’s just nicer all the way around. It really is a nice chair. I’m glad we upgraded.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to get one of these! The chair is quite comfortable and I especially like the full range of the back. As some have pointed out the leg rest is a bit short. I'm 5'7" and my feet hang over the edge at the ankle. Not much of a bother for me. The speed of movement is relatively good when setting positions. The massage is nice to have. I haven't tried the heat yet. One of the arms was damaged and customer service was spot on! They kept me updated and new arm arrived within a week. I would definitely recommend this seller and this product.
