It is not Golds Gym XRS Did not return bcus it’s heavy and it’s a hassle. It has detailed instructions to put together, but it takes a while. It is kinda cheapy. Not heavy duty.

Given that Corov-19 has my gym closed for 6 months, I'm happy that gym is assembled and works. It took me 8 hrs to assemble but read the directions twice (one mistake, but corrected it). I'm used to free-weights but this is good for now. For most exercises I use exercise bands to supplement the weight system. I can't tell, but bench, deadlift, and squats only go to 200-300 lbs. I attach bands and 10lbs leg weights to make harder. My advice, read the directions before you put it together. ... show more

This machine is pretty cool just as described in the pictures and specs. Very durable solid materials and perfect functionality. The only downfall is it comes shipped in about 300 bits and pieces, took me about 8hours to assemble and im handy with tools.

    • Not like the previous version
I was just replacing my old version of Weider which I have had for 13 years. However, this one does not have all the features and some parts are not very well made. For example, the seat cushion and the backrest are as half as thick as the old one that I had. Also, missing a few other important parts for various exercise routines. On the positive side, it was very easy to put together, 5-6 hours, all parts were there including all weights. It is also very smooth it seems; maybe because my old machine was 13 years old however :) ... show more

I couldn't be happier. Be warned that the weights ship separately and arrived three days after the gym. The waybill from Icon Fitness (the fulfillment company) clearly states "1 of 2 packages," but FedEx stated that only one package was on its waybill. Be patient! Icon were non-committal when I inquired about the missing package, and simply said "send it back to Amazon." Sofia's Online Place (the seller) responded promptly and told me another package would arrive later, as it did. I put the gym together easily alone and have been using it with a smile on my face for the past week. My muscles are aching. It does the job! ... show more

The machine is well made, it’s not a gold’s gym brand as advertised, but is an excellent quality, the direction for assembly are a little bit confusing and let a lot for us to guess but we could do it with no problem

I am beyond frustrated with this order. The item eventually arrived after having to reorder it. Now there are no weights included in the box so can't complete the setup. A real waste of time and money.
