The "GoHIMAL Skateboard Backpack, Skateboard Bag Sports Backpack, Laptop Bag Multi-Sport Design for Men & Women" arrived promptly and was just as described online. I chose this backpack as a graduation gift for my grandson who is an avid skateboarder and sports enthusiast. The backpack offers several important features. A few backpack features particularly relate to skateboard portage and safety. PROS: * Excellent design and execution (most likely designed by an adult skateboard enthusiast.) Every aspect of safe skateboarding and total equipment carry is included, along with all the necessary accommodations required for a modern, college student's backpack. Clever use of sturdy, hidden pocket, for “off-the-head” helmet transport is essential. Nothing has been left out in this innovative design! * Extra-large capacity backpack measures 18.5” x 11.2” x 4.7” and has 10 auxiliary pockets. Multipurpose “Helmet” bag serves as a soccer / volleyball / basketball / football bag. * Excellent materials and construction throughout. Thick, heavy-duty fabric and thread, strong, fully encased seams, large, rust-free metal zippers that open / close smoothly, no loose threads. Excellent quality and QC of a well-made bag. * Very comfortable to wear fully loaded with laptop, notebooks, water bottles, helmet, board and safety gear (elbow, wrist and knee pads.) * Wide, adjustable, thickly-padded shoulder straps distribute weight equally and comfortably across back. Excellent back and shoulder support. * Extra-thick padding in all the right places protects shoulders and upper / lower back from stress and strain associated with backpack transport. * Well-padded laptop pockets accommodate cell phone, iPad, notebook or laptop up to 17". 1-1/2” thick Velcro elastic band keeps all electronic components in place. * Convenient, well-made charging port is easily accessible and designed to be waterproof. * Extra-roomy inside and out with several pockets for storage, including a secret pocket in the back for documents / valuables. Plenty of room for books, lunch, snacks, clothing, wrist, knee and elbow pads. * Two elastic mesh side pockets hold water / drinks tightly. * The mesh helmet bag rises up from a lower, hidden compartment. It holds the helmet neatly and securely in place by attachment to large snap clips at the top of bag. * Whistle snap clip at rear holds straps securely in place. It thoughtfully provides a loud, shrill sound for use in emergency situations. * Reflective tape on straps provides safety at night. Please wear LEDs and reflective high-vis clothing to increase safety. * A thickly-padded handle on top provides for easy carry. * Wide, heavy-duty strap on back is used for carrying backpack atop luggage at airports. MISSING INFO: * Backpack appears to be water-resistant or waterproof, but I can't find this definitively listed in the online info. Help, GoHimal! * Durability can only be determined over time. I will update my review as necessary :) SUMMARY: Without any doubt, this high-quality, super-comfortable skateboard and accessory backpack is an excellent value for the money. I am waiting for GoHimal to design and manufacture a similar backpack to accommodate my size 11 Rollerblades. Enjoy! Highly Recommended.

This Skateboard back pack is a must have. I purchased this for my 7yr son about 9 months ago. It fits the elbow, wrist, and knee pads plus his helmet. The helmet can be carried on the outside which is perfect when he has snacks and a water bottle in the bag. There are pockets for extra barring's and the tools for the board. Its extremely durable because we can be rough on things. The bag is roomy. The straps that hold the board are strong, wide and thick. We have never had a problem with this bag. Keeps everything in one place for when we are heading out to skate.

I have a 14 year old daughter that has taught herself how to skate; in fact, she has become seriously good. So she now has serious boards, serious associated gear, and serious battle rattle (protective gear.) I thought this might help her haul things around, and boy has it ever. The external straps should fit any sized board, except for perhaps the outrageous battle cruisers for sidewalkers and the like that are nearly as tall as her. The interior has more room than one would think by looking at it. I'm an old-school external frame/military backpacker, so it seems tiny, until I see her pack it with EVERYTHING, and comfortably so. As a teen skater girl, she is also very much concerned about how things look. This, in its blue configuration, made her happy. The only concern that I have is that I am concerned about durability, especially the zippers and buckles. As I am used to military/hunting/exp gear, I am perhaps too critical. At this price point, I am pleased with it. I will update if any issues arise.

This is a pretty good backpack. It holds a decent amount of stuff and works well for my needs. I carry pads, gum, and headphones in it, attach my helmet to the top handle, and strap my skateboard to the back. The zippers feel solid and haven’t broken on me, it’s lightweight, comfortable, and good for the money. The only downside is that after carrying my board for a while, a small tear appeared on the back. Normally this wouldn’t be a big issue, but since it’s designed for skateboards, I expected more resistance to grip tape wear.

This has been great for my teenager. He said it fits in his locker well and it’s easy to clean. So far durable with all his gear and school stuff. Also comfortable on his shoulders and holds a lot.

I actually don't use this to carry my skateboard. I tried it once and it didn't look good (Maybe because of it was too heavy, it was a off brand penny board so not sure if it's the backpack or the board.) I still gave it 5 stars because I literally take this with me almost every time I go out. There's enough pockets and space for everything I need and the quality of the backpack is really good. I take it with me on vacations, road trips, school and more. I also really love the strap in the front to make sure that my backpack can't be taken off on me or just needs more support. I also really love the blue color of it. Overall, I really recommend this backpack for anyone who carries a lot with them. I don't use this to carry my skateboard but as a backpack, I use it to carry everything else. Quality is good and doesn't feel too heavy to carry around while traveling like other backpacks.

My 12 year old grandson was happy with this backpack to carry his board and school items. He commutes to another island for school via boat or ferry and walks quite a bit as well in the trip so this solved the issue easily of keeping his skateboard with him. It holds all the items a typical middle-schooler needs.
