I was worried when I ordered this that the straps would rub my sons legs but the “pouch” in between help them sit nicely and we didn’t have any issues. I also like having the strap on the back so I could hold onto my son without him knowing since he’s in his independent I can do it phase. Only downside is it doesn’t have the floaty on the back near their head so when he fell he went under the water but when he came up he wasn’t forced into his back like other toddler life jackets. I would probably recommend the one with the floaty that forces them onto their back if you’re in a pool but this was perfect for the water park and him not fully being in the water or deep water.
