First time I saw this little roller was at target! Picked the little thing up and started rolling it on my wife and vice versa right in the aisle. We both were pretty amazed with how good it felt and how the roller would roll up and down your muscles and over those tight knots with ease. Decided to buy it a few months later off of Amazon and I think it is built to do its job. The price is a little steep but overall a good product to help with tight muscles.

This roller works great in general and my athlete kids and wife love the benefits, but I would love to see an improved handle for the user giving the rollout. You get tired fairly quickly, maybe a longer handle for allowing to provide more pressure by using both hands. I do have to note that this is a second roller as the first started leaking. (There is liquid in the ball to be frozen for colder applications).

I had plantar release surgery and was in a cast for six weeks. Now, I'm in regular footwear and have moved on to a new phase in my recovery. This device is key! I use it to massage my plantar area and scar tissue every night. Although it is very cold, it never feels TOO cold. No need to cover your foot with anything - you can apply directly to your skin. It feels heavenly and I can control how much pressure to use. My physical therapist loves this thing, too. I also like that it seems to start losing its icy-ness right around the time I am ready to be done with it. I don't need to set a timer or anything. As soon as the cold starts to wear off, I know I'm done and have spent plenty of time self-caring for my foot. I've also used it to cool a sunburn! Works really well for that, too. Over the years of suffering from plantar, I owe almost every device you can think of. THIS is one of my all time favorites!
