If you want a very bright, well made, color accurate light that is as powerful as the Aputure 120d, at a fraction of the price, this is your light. The Sl100Bi is perfect for an interior key light. The Bowens mount allows you do mount different modifiers and the 2800-6500k range lets you match any lighting scenario. I would recommend this light if you starting out and still learning how to light properly and don't want to break your bank. The light is very quiet. The fan has a lower range hum that is practically imperceptible to ears at 4 feet away. I use a boom and lav system when I record and you absolutely do not hear it at all. So don't worry about sound issues. The fan does not get louder as the light output increases like some other "cheaper" brands. It comes with a reflector, a 16 foot power cord and the light. That's all. So I suggest picking up the Godox CB15 Carrying Bag for S30 Kit. It will hold the light and other gear. I also suggest picking up the Godox RC-A6 remote control for it. It controls everything on the light (except FX) and you don't have to rely on a phone app. The remote also works for the UL150 UL60 ML60 SL150BI SZ200BI. I have this paired with a Nicefoto 35inch soft box and and it works great. I totally recommend it. ... show more

A really powerful white light is essential for just about any video shoot. The Godox SL100BI is a perfect choice. I really liked the performance, especially at the reasonable price point. What sets the BI model apart is the ability to choose a variable color temperature - basically you can make the light more yellow or more blue, to help match it to the other lights in your scene, or for artistic effect. That's a huge benefit compared to a fixed color temperature light, which can be awkward to work with. The light itself is really nicely made, with an LED screen on the back making it easy to dial in settings. It's also pretty compact, especially for the 96 CRI and 100 watts of output. The Bowens style mount is nice too - there's a ton of great, inexpensive light modifiers to pair with it, like a globe lantern or softbox. Overall, I'd definitely consider getting some more of these lights for a multi light setup, but right now, 1 is perfect for my purposes. ... show more

This is a great light. I'm glad to see COB lights go with bi-color because figuring out how to put a gel in with a softbox to change the color temperature has always been a pain.

I was so thankful for this light. It *was* amazing. Very bright light. I’ve been using it since I got it for filming and so appreciative for the quality and brightness but I went to use it today and it just won’t turn on. I made sure the outlets were working and they are. I still don’t understand why this just stopped working. Very disappointed. This was my favorite light I’ve ever had. ... show more
