I picked up the Godox iT32 with the X5S trigger a couple of weeks ago, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my everyday shooting. The magnetic snap between the flash and trigger is so satisfying – it clicks on securely for on-camera use, then pops off in a second if I want to go off-camera without any fuss. TTL works perfectly on my Sony A7600 and fx30, exposures are spot-on, and being able to bounce light easily with the rotating head makes portraits look way more natural. It’s tiny enough to slip in my bag, the battery lasts forever (I’ve gotten hundreds of shots without worrying), and it even plays nice with my other Godox lights wirelessly. Sure, it’s not the most powerful flash out there, but for events, travel, or just filling in shadows, it’s perfect. Couldn’t be happier – highly recommend if you’re looking for something compact and clever!

The Godox iT32 is amazing. I purchased it for the sony hotshoe but I will also be purchasing the additional hot shoe so that I can put it on my fuji x100vi. I love that the flash is magnetic and comes off the hotshoe for wireless off camera flash. amazing. I would purchase it again! I love the size. It has a permanent spot in my travel/every day camera bag.

The media could not be loaded. Extremely compact and lightweight! I love that its magnetic and wireless. So you can use the adapter to magnetically mount to your camera OR you can leave the mount/trigger and place the flash strategically in a remote spot and fire it! Its extremely small and compact and has a built in battery which is awesome! It brings a diffuser and some gels so you can play with the colors and brightness which is really good. Also has a very bright color screen which allows you to easily move through the menu and functions. It also brings a soft carry pouch that has room for all the accessories. For its size and functionality, you get a lot of value in this light. Godox again with a great product.

Spent the last couple of days testing it and I can say it is probably one of the best compact flashes out there (if not the best one). Coming from the Godox iT350f, the immediate upgrades are the form factor and power management — it now features an integrated lithium battery with impressive longevity. I ran roughly 300 exposures at high frame rates to stress-test recycle performance, and the HSS capability at up to 1/8000s sync speed genuinely caught me off guard. Oh, and after ~300 full pops, it barely moved the battery indicator — which is seriously impressive power efficiency for a unit this size. The next standout feature is the magnetic mount system, which operates as both an on-camera transmitter and an off-camera receiver depending on the configuration — giving you full placement flexibility without needing a separate trigger. (I didn’t have enough lights to properly stress-test the multi-unit transmitter workflow, so I’ll reserve judgment there.) It also packs a modeling lamp, which is a pretty rare spec at this form factor and price bracket — genuinely useful for previewing light placement and modifiers before committing to a shot. On the control side: touchscreen interface, a tactile rotary dial with haptic feedback, and an overall UI that’s intuitive enough to navigate mid-shoot without diving into menus. Bottom line — I don’t think anything touches this flash at its price point. Honestly, when you stack up the feature set, it makes some of the pricier options look hard to justify.
