As a long time Canon shooter (XSi, 40D, 5DM3) we've come a long way with strobe photography. I remember when the 580EX and 430EX's needed line of sign to trigger manually and how conveniently sized I thought the 430EX seemed to be. After using this item for a fun personal event paired with my R8 and RF 28m 2.8 pancake, it really gives that point and shoot vibe and a probably overkill quality lol. I even used it to replace our X2T transmitter for our Photo Booth to give our "lens baby" tiger teddy bear more headroom. Pair this with the Godox TRC ($14!) with the diffuser cap and it becomes a super versatile replacement for my Godox V1C and older strobes (430EX etc) with now the ability to point forward to straight up 90° which is pretty insane and super light and portable. I've got two IT30 Pros + two TRCs and had an event where I used one TRC as a master flash (with the flash off) and the second TRC as my handheld flash for a photo gig for my friends DJ event. I was shooting in burst forever and barely saw the battery drain. In darker party circumstances these batteries will last long in higher ISO Situations and even see using HSS you can use this flash as a fill light through a tiny soft box on YouTube reviews and can see at 1/2 - 1/1 power in closer proximity it could do well in dusk, maybe not broad daylight for extended shoots. I haven't missed the ability to hot swap batteries and I definitely see the great function and value even paired with the TRCs they are <$100 USD and do great.

This little flash is great for everyday photography. It's very bright and I like being able to trigger my other flashes with this. I use this with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and its size is comparable to the Fujifilm EF-X20. The flash range even reaches over some larger lenses like the Viltrox 27mm XF f/1.2 Pro (without the hood). I like the build quality and screen. The built-in diffuser helped with photographing my son and people without completely blinding them. I had no problem with the TTL sync for my work, but I could see some lag when using the exposure compensation settings if you were trying to burst shot something moving fast (but you'd probably have the wrong flash anyways).

Great small flash, features: - TTL support so nice automatic exposure - small and light, great option since very few cameras come with pop-up flash now - li-ion rechargable battery internal, usb-c rechargable - can act as wireless master for Godox system - nice OLED touchscreen interface - Godox sell a cheap riser which raises the flash about 1" for cases where you're using a big lens, this prevents shadow from lens.

I have the Olympus model on an OM-1i and it is fully functional. Menus and settings are easy and intuitive. I bought it mostly to support focus-stacking in macrophotography and that is well supported in manual mode, not at all in TTL. Build quality seems good. The built-in diffuser has limited utility. Charging is easy. Power level is modest, but that's no surprise in such a compact unit. I definitely recommend it for someone who doesn't need a lot of power and is mainly looking to support close-up photography or get a fill flash.

This works with all my Sony cameras MIS shoe, my NEX 6, ZV1, ZVE10II and A7CII. This is great kit! I love the size and functionality as well as the rechargeable battery that charges fast and gives you over 300 pictures. If you're on the fence, just buy it. TTL is Through The Lens and works thoroughly with your camera and its logic. The only problem I've found is that when you take a picture and the flash goes off, if you switch to video and take a picture while making a video the flash will not go off. Furthermore, if you switch back to still picture mode the flash will not go off. I'm in talks now with Godox about this and have to say their support is OUTSTANDING!

Perfect addition to my Sony A7IV. Easy to use on and off camera. That TTL and High Speed sync is a much need plus to small flashes like these. Flash quality big surprise. The power in this little thing was unexpected. Picture quality is great. Being so light, I hold it in hand as off camera mostly, paird with the Godox X3. Great buy.
