I just love these. They make a very beautiful complement to your table on a holiday or even to just keep some little condiments covered. Keep in mind they very small. What I like about the most is that they have high sides so I’m able to use mine in my refrigerator with half a lemon once I have to store it Even though they look kind of fancy for my refrigerator. I really don’t care because they were so cheap and I love them, but I also did was buy a set of three and break it up as a little gift on Mother’s Day for my sister and my daughter. You might want to try things like that at times….I highly recommend these! ... show more

I've tried various butter containers and THIS is the best for my needs. My husband can actually cut a stick of butter in half and put the half into this without any problem. Instant Win! Every other container he would leave the butter out in the wrapper but this one he puts the half stick into it when needed; all by himself! He said it could even hold 3/4ths stick ... just like a man. :) Of course he doesn't flatten it into the dish portion, just lets the butter sit up-on-end. It doesn't touch the dome. If you are into fancy dinners then you could easily use these for an elegant presentation of dessert and wow everyone. Good for 1 scoop of ice cream or sorbet, mousse, berries... I am buying these for Christmas gifts for family this year. ... show more

I have a set of covered butter dishes that I purchased a few years ago. Dinner guests were charmed but I had only gotten 3 (but hey, couples could share). I decided when I saw this set to add 3 more to me collection and while lovely, they are quite a bit larger than the original set.
