When inflated, most travel neck pillows get round at the back of the neck as well as the rest of the way around the neck. I don't want that! Filling up at the back of the neck tilts my head forward and I'm at risk of falling forward once I manage to sleep. Not comfortable at all. This one stays pretty flat at the back of the neck while the sides fill up to give support and cradle your head. Much better design. It is an inflatable travel pillow so it's not going to turn a coach seat into a first class fully reclining sleep bed. But for what it is it works well. I inflated it upon arrival to ensure no leaks and it stayed fully inflated for several days. I like that it is inflatable as it does not take up much space in the carry on. Having the center section not inflate much is actually a good idea as it allows the pillow to cradle your head better providing decent support. The plastic pieces around the perimeter poke your neck and chest. Very uncomfortable. The circumference is small and barely goes around a woman’s neck let alone a man’s! It might work for a child.

Other travel cushions have always pushed my head forward. Because airline seats don't recline very far, this has been a problem. The Snoozer Inflatable travel pillow lets my head drop back between two comfortable air cushions and prevents my head from bobbing side to side. Because it's inflatable, I can let the air out once I've finished using it and it can be stored in small area of my carry on luggage. I love this pillow compared to the "Other dozen" I have purchased. This one can fold up and travel light, blow it up and your head fits into the top and the sides cuddle your cheeks. Most pillows make your head and neck jut forward and are very uncomfortable. Give it a try, I like it !
