  • Heavy duty!
Color: Beige/Black
Having already put together a similar tree, this one went together relatively easily. One post was unraveling right out of the box. However this was simply remedied with some fabric glue. Tree is just a bit wobbly but for the most part is sturdy. My heavy pixibob initiated the tree by running up to the top level. After getting her paw stuck on one of the posts. I have four cats two of which have already checked out the tree. I have one cat without claws (not by my choice) who has been able to check out all levels with the help of two step ladder features. I expect my small cat which has Cerebellar hypoplasia and cannot coordinate her limbs well enough to climb, will in time be able to use the ladders to access the large and small boxes. The boxes are large enough to accommodate my pixibob (who weighs 20 lbs.) Comfortably although her head has to be outside the small box. The mouse toy caught the attention of the two cats right away All in all this tree is a good value for the price. My cats will get a lot of fun from playing on it, and will use the top platform to view their "catdome " while getting their cat naps in. ... show more

  • Awesome, we're very happy campers!
Color: Beige
Love this, came unharmed packaged well, as described and all pieces were there and went together great, kind of heavy but not unmoveable, I hand tightened everything and once most of it was together I went and retightened, mine came with predrilled screw holes with extra nut support in the holes so that the screws stayed in place, I couldn't imagine how it would of stayed in well with out that feature...thank you Go Pet! The material is a cream color and seems to be made of mid\ high grade fleece, soft but not cushion-y. However most cats don't seem to like overly stuffed bedding. My little guy loves it, when he stretched out to scratch the post he stopped to look at me as if to ask if it was OK...lol hence getting told no when it came to my furniture. If your cat seems uncomfortable this will be a great investment, it is very well made and a very reasonable price. I vacuumed with a handheld attachment with a brush and gave the tree a once over to rid any loose fibers and it fluffed up nicely. This is particle board and has a slight glue like Wood or Elmer's glue smell, not like gaging chemicals, thank the lord, if I need another one in the future, which I can't see why because this is made soooo well, I would buy this again in a heart beat! Highly recommend this cat tree, just take care on the bottom ladder when moving, I would unscrew it until after it gets moved then rescrew it, don't use power tools, the torque may be too much screw by hand so that way you can dismantle if needed, it is pretty sturdy on my end at least. Thanks go pet! If I were to change anything I would make the edges tips rounded, I bumped in to them a few times and stepped on the ladder.....the corners hurt! But it was worth the pain to see my little guy have a safe spot all of his own! June 20 2016 Update!!!! Well my cat got fat and I think he weighs over 14 lbs and is just generally large, Main Coon mix.....I think because he's a behemoth of cat😹 anyways the top towers finally gave out and one did fall and cat fell too, I don't think he had any major injuries but I'm sure he got bruised however I was distraught that my little baby could have been seriously injured, so I took the beds that sat on top of the towers off, left the tubes so he could scratch and put one bed on top of upper cubby room, he seems to be happy with that, here is a tip.....if you feel or see something protruding from the bottom of the tube through the fabric you can be certain that it's a staple and it is about to break or if it wobbles as the cat jumps into it, do not wait, remove the bed asap! The tube separated from the plastic end that screwed the bolt in, so the bolt was still in.....still connected. There are simple modifications you can make like I did to make it safe and still enjoyable. I still recommend it but with any thing pet related you have to regularly inspect the condition for wear and tear. And one more tip.....put your cat toys in a lidded plastic container when not being supervised, leaving your cat unattended with toys can pose choking hazards, my cat once swallowed 10 inches of string and I was able to pull it out of his stomach slowly and the string was only attached by a splinted thread because he had chewed it. I will never make that mistake again. ... show more

  • I doubt that it will support a 270LB adult, but it's a good cat tree for the price.
Color: Brown
The media could not be loaded. It's a nice, tall and sturdy cat tree for a reasonable price. I gave it 4 stars for ease of assembly, assuming there are people out there who have never assembled anything in their lives...the directions are easy to follow and it goes together in about a half hour. The cats love it, and I use the top cubby for their food bowl, so the dog can't steal it the second I turn my back. The bottom legs are short enough that they can't easily destroy them with their claws...I've included an image of the last tree I had to throw out due to that issue. It IS NOT the tree in this review. ... show more

  • Her Majesty approves, and so do we!
Color: Black
We got this for our 14-month old chonky girl, Kiki. She's an independent little cuss who is too proud to admit that her Hoomans can ever do anything that suits Her Majesty, so we were very pleased when she took obvious pleasure in exploring her first cat tree. As it turns out, she was reluctant to try the top perch when we assembled the tree yesterday, preferring the lower level (as pictured), but she's up there taking a snooze as I write this. She doesn't have much use for the cubbies - she's too big for the small one, and just hasn't displayed any interest in the large one, but she loves the attached fuzzy toy and has practically destroyed it already. Assembly was pretty easy and took Hubs and me a grand total of 40 minutes - which would have been shorter had Hubs paid closer attention to the size of the support posts. They're not listed in order of size on the instruction sheet (which consists of drawings but no narrative), and that probably threw him off. Everything went together easily, there were no missing parts, and we didn't have any problem with the hardware cross-threading or stripping. As for the perching platforms... they looked terribly small when we took them out of the box, but Kiki manages to squish her 14.5 lb. butt into them and appears to be comfortable even though she tends to spill out over the edges a bit. The material is a very soft plush, but there's not a whole lot of cushioning, if any. Kiki doesn't seem to mind, though. The little ramps/ladders are cute, but they're too short to really be of any use, as it makes them too steep for an adult cat. A small kitten would probably find them fun and useful, though. The sisal scratching posts seem to be well-constructed, and it's nice that there are so many of them. Stability: This tree is every bit as tall as the description says, and it seemed to be stable enough when we left it in the middle of the room, but it still wobbled a bit, and I think that kept Kiki from exploring it to the fullest when it was newly assembled. She was much more receptive when we put it up against a wall, and I'd even go so far as to recommend that it be placed in a corner if at all possible. Overall first impression: Well worth the price paid. At six feet high, I believe this is better suited for adult cats, but if you have a small kitten, you might be able to wangle a partial assembly, adding levels as your kitten grows. ... show more
