  • Cats love it!
Color: Paw Print
So, this was fairly easy to put together even though none of the pieces were labeled “A” “B” etc, so it was a guessing game. The cats absolutely love it and immediately were fighting with who was going to be able to play with the mouse first. This is the second type of cat tree we have had like this and they loved both of them. ... show more

  • My cat Amelia loves hanging out on her cat condo...
Color: Gray
Amelia loves hanging out on her cat tree and spends a lot of time on it. She particularly loves attacking the little hanging mouse on it. Money well spent. She really gives it a workout pouncing on it and climbing up it. Sometimes I worry she is going to push it over, but whoever designed it made it sturdy enough to support her very vigorous activity on it! I am very glad I made this purchase. It was easy to assemble and sits in front of the bedroom window. I highly recommend this product. Amelia is a sturdy small to medium sized cat, but if you have a big cat you may want to choose a bigger, sturdier one to support your cat's activity and weight. ... show more

  • Very good kitty tree! But READ the description BEFORE you buy it!
Color: Beige
I purchased this cat tree for my approximately 6-pound, fully-grown kitty. She loves to climb, and she loves to scratch, and since we moved into a smaller space, she hasn't had many places to do much climbing. Even after reading all of the previous reviews, I chose this one because I *actually* read the item description, which apparently the majority of other purchasers failed to do. Appearance: The beige color is a little closer to ivory, but it certainly looks great in our living room corner, with wood laminate flooring and off-white walls. It's not a terrible eyesore like many cat trees can be, and will sit very nicely out of the way. Beware when you first open the box, though. You will have little ivory-colored bits of carpet shedding all over the place while you unpack and assemble it. Have the vacuum cleaner ready! Assembly: It took me maybe 5-10 minutes to assemble the entire thing. It comes in 10 pieces (not counting the hardware and hex wrench, which is obviously included as well), and the directions make it quite clear how to assemble the piece. Function: My cat is not quite normal. At first, she wanted nothing to do with this strange new beast that invaded her home. A tiny bit of catnip rubbed on the posts and platforms, however, quickly made this her new best friend! She weighs about 6 pounds (maybe a little more), and while she is slightly long for climbing from level to level, she enjoys jumping up to the higher platforms, and crawling into the little alcove. Scratching the posts seems to suit her, too. For those who complained that their 11-pound, 20-pound, or Maine Coon(!) cats couldn't safely play on it: That's because it says clearly in the item's description that it is for a "small cat." The very last time I checked, 20 pounds certainly did not qualify a cat as "small." 11 pounds is rather beefy, too. At about 6 or 7 pounds, mine can play with this just fine. She's almost 11 years old, and enjoys the mouse-like critter suspended from the top platform. There's no noticeable wobble when she mounts or dismounts from any level of the structure, and it is not propped up on a wall, and I did not add any additional support or weight. One previous reviewer stated that it looked as if it would bend if a person were to lean on it. Well, it's not intended for *people* to play on it, so I also wouldn't recommend resting on it for support. But if your kitty gets tired, he or she will love to play or rest on the soft, silky carpeting on this cat tree. All in all, this is great for a growing kitten (not too tiny, though) or a *small* cat. The carpet is soft and silky, and the structure is sturdy. If your cat doesn't seem too keen on it at first, try rubbing and sprinkling a tiny bit of catnip on it and then put the cat on it. They'll be in love, and you'll have some entertainment watching them play. ... show more

  • Excellent for the price
Color: Beige
These things are usually so expensive, and I was thrilled to find one so affordable. I don't know why it's taken so long for someone to come out with a decent cat tree that isn't $100+. It's more pared down for sure - the materials are not as substantial as in the trees that cost 3x as much, but that's to be expected. It doesn't make much difference anyway. The quality is still good; the carpet is softer than usual, more like fuzzy fabric. If it wears out, I imagine it would be pretty easy to repair or even reupholster. The hanging mouse toy is genius and the cat loves batting it around. It's very easy to put together and packed in the box like a puzzle which is very impressive. No wasted space whatsoever. Taller cat trees are inevitably going to be a little wobbly and that's my only issue with this. It's physics, but makes me nervous! The cat, however, doesn't seem to mind at all. It's set in front of the sliding door and he spends a lot of time on the top level napping or watching whatever is happening outside. He's so enamored of it that I've saved the box so it will be easy to take apart and bring on our move to Europe. Probably easier to just buy another when we get there, but he's so attached to this one that I wouldn't want to part with it. ... show more

  • A little unstable
Color: Beige
My cat LOVES this condo. He loves the sisal to sharpen his claws, the hidey hole and the mouse. The only issue is that my cat is only 6 lbs and this condo rocks when he jumps on it. Needs a sturdier base. I dont want to return it but Im going to have to anchor it to the wall somehow before my cat gets bigger so it doesnt topple over. The off white color is complementary and it doesnt shed. ... show more
